GT - Seeing as you've accepted recently that Wenger is unlikely to change his ways in terms of transfers - What makes you think he'll change tactics?

In my view he recognised that with rely on one striker upfront the whole season failed badly. Wenger will correct that and if the rumours are true he looks into the market to bring in a complete different type of player to Giroud. Is it Sanchez, ist it Remy? Dont know we will see.

As pp12 said he tried to play with two upfront against Wigan and Hull in the FA cup. Yet not optimal solution that is why were linked with different type of players. Only my view.

There's no tactic behind Sanogo and Giroud up front. That was desperation.

I get what you mean with him buying a different type of striker - But who's to say he won't play the new striker out left to accommodate Giroud? That would be silly.

No problem with Giroud coming off the bench/playing cup games but there's no system i can think of that could justify him being first choice if we get a new striker who is better than him.

Giroud is going to be replaced in the first XI. That much is crystal clear. Wenger played the injured, useless postman wannabe in our biggest game vs Bayern ffs.
