no European club would come and buy either llana or Shaw for that amount of money, we do over inflate our prices and we complain there's not enough English players in the PL

As if Liverpool getting Downing for £49million wasn't funny enough.....this time they've actually signed someone with LAL in his name for a similar amount.

In fact Wenger's business in the past few years has been pretty poor.

Good signings : Cazorla,

Average signings : Flamini, Ozil

Bad signings : Monreal, Podolski, Giroud,

Michael Ricketts would sell for £20m+ if he was around today.

Go through other top team's managers doing similar and you'll probably find Wenger's not that bad in comparison

Good signings: eriksen

Average signings: Poolinho Dembele

Bad signings: NONE

Chelsea sign so many players that some of them are bound to succeed, and if they don't they send them on loan until they have some value.

Utd - Bebe, Young, Fellaini and so on

Liverpool -

City - Rodwell, Jovetic, Sinclair

Mourinho (off the top of my head)

Good signings : Schurlle, Willian, Matic

Avg Signings : Salah, Eto'o

Bad signings : ??

Schurlle is average at best for what they paid.

Salah, if we're being harsh enough to judge him alread, would be bad. If Podolski counts as bad.

Perhaps, Dot, perhaps.

I would drop Salah down a bracket, very poor player.

Look at Utd and Chelsea's spending over the last year compared to City., Arsenal and Liverpool.

Then just look how lightly they get off from the media.

If Chelsea don't win the league this season then i think it should be seen as the worst performance by a manager in PL history.

I think Costa would have flopped if they hadnt got in Cesc. He will create too many chances for Costa now.

Thats because Ozil is our only world class player. Whereas the other bigger clubs have 2 or 3 that share the venom.
