When Wenger said after the Leicester game that he would be VERY active today, he was of course referring to him reffing the charity match in Italy and there was us thinking he meant he was going to do his job and earn his £8m salary by making us competitive, how stupid are we?

Wenger cannot deny he said we would replace Vermaelen were he to leave. We'd already signed Chambers, so he is not TV's replacement.

If Campbell wants out, Wenger will let him go. Or at least he should do.
