Incidentally, can anyone tell me if there's a way to delete your own (wrongly submitted) articles? I realise I have messed up a couple of times previously with the steep learning curve (ie any kind of learning curve)
Who knows anymore?
After wingbacks in our last match anything is possible.
I’d like to see Sako behind the striker in a 4-4-1-1 again but Hunt has picked up a knock hasn’t he so no real options on the left and I’d like to see Peszko back on the right but Deano seems very unsure about him.
Davis in for Henry for me. Don't know why but Henry just seems to have lost it since MM left and needs to be dropped, never to return.
I would like to see Pez back in on the right, move Sig up front with Seb and drop Doyle to the bench.
Wulfrun you can edit for as long as you want but i don;t think you can delete. Just change which boards they appear on to bury them.
Herb, having republished the original article (this one), how do I delete the original? I can edit it, but can't delete it.
thanks tatter, I think it's well and truly buried anyway. Just didn't like the idea of an orphan article wandering around the empty boards, with no-one to love them.
Shall I go and find it and give it a ?
Not bad Suso. His first game was away at Barnsley and he did OK despite having Sako in front of him, against Cardiff he was used as a wingback first half and more traditional fullback second. Looked better second half but then so did the rest of the team.
My team would be
De Vries
Doherty, Batth, Johnson, Robinson
Peszko, doumbia, Ohara, sako
Cassidy, Siggy
Obviously in a standard 442. Doumbia to hold with Ohara pushing forward and a bench of Ikeme, gorkks, foley (only due to lack of defenders) Davies, hammill, Doyle and seb
Wulfrunnut can't agree with your lineup as Batth hasn't put a foot wrong since coming in for Johnson and Johnson make at least one booboo every game usually resulting in a goal given away. Henry is very poor these days and does not even show any leadership qualities anymore and that midfield lineup was woeful against Cardiff. Neither Doyle nor Ebanks-Blake can be relied on to score goals and should both be dropped to the bench.
My lineup would be:
Ikeme
Doherty Batth Gorkss Robinson
Peszko Davies O'Hara Sako
Sigurdarson Cassidy
My team to beat Watford
Ikeme
Doherty Batth Gorky Robinson
Pesky Davies O'Hara Sako
Cassidy Siggy
Wolfgang
Great minds think alike
De Vries
Doherty, Johnson, Gorky, Robinson
Peszko, doumbia, Ohara, sako
Cassidy, Siggy.
Ikeme,
ward, johnson, berra, foley,
edwards, henry, ohara, hammill
doyle, ebanks-blake
------------------Ikeme
Doherty---Batth---Gorkks---Robinson
---------Foley---Davis---O'Hara
Sigurdarson-------------------------Sako
---------------------SEB
Pundit I can't believe you're seriously suggesting foley in midfield. He's shîte at right back and even worse in midfield. Replace him with doumbia and that's not a bad side. A line up similar to that destroyed bristol under solbakken. Ah back in the good old days

I thought Scott Tracy was a puppet not a muppet.
Will Cassidy play after playing tonight?
My team is
------------------Ikeme
Doherty---Batth---Gorkks---Robinson
Sigurdarson------Peszko------Davis---O'Hara----Sako

Why oh why are you keeping SEB and Doyle up front?
Doyle is hopeless in a 4-4-2 set up. Something I've been advocating for over 2 years now. He cannot score goals and SEB has missed too many chances in my opinion to even start another game. If he had put away the chances he's had we'd be 4 or 5 points better off by now.
It's time for Cassidy and Sigurdarson to get the goals.
I'll go along with Wolfgang's side, with a completely new back 4 and drop Henry.
But I'll wager DS opts for his version of safety.
Mike it's out of desperation believe me.
Edwards runs around. Henry has not been effective for the last 10 games and Doumbia has been the worst player on the pitch for the last two games. Don't believe the hype of his pre-season form, he's been shocking.
Foley can tackle and pass as well as Henry, so why not.
Heres a goal scorer that we have on the books but attitude lets him down
