Quite a few links with Chelsea lately.
Lukaku > Di Matteo > Steve Clarke > getting your last 2 managers sacked...
Yeah why not...he's going to get such stick today....
We'd love to help you get rid of Benitez. In return, we want Romelu Lukaku for £4 million. Deal?
He's as ineffective as Doyle, but at least we didn't pay £6.5m for him.
Hate to be pedantic Aries but Doyle has scored 5 goals in 34 appearances this season. Not great, but it's roughly 1 in 7.
Rosenberg hasn't scored in 14 appearances. That 0 in 14.
Doyle cannot be described as ineffective, but your word could be used for your striker Markus R0senberg.
The difference is Rosenberg has never started a game for us, we don't rely on him for goals, and we got him on a Bosman free.
Doyle cost you £6.5 million to be your principal goal scorer, and in four seasons and 127 appearances with Wolves he has scored 23 goals.
Based on his transfer fee alone, his goals have cost Wolves £282,609 each as Wolves have fallen from the Premier League to second bottom of the Championship on their way to League One.
So yes, I would say Kevin Doyle has been and remains an ineffective player. Even Wolves fans say so.
Rosenberg has scored the same amount of top flight goals as Steve Bull.
FACT
MAGIC
I wonder if we should loan Rosenberg out to Wolves. He could be the next Kevin Doyle.
