They can't criticise Roman because they are scared to, so all there frustration and vitriol spills over onto the manager.

They are putting themselves in a bad light, typified on here by the Heysel comment. With the owner sacking everyone. T the big time charlie players and the fans spitting venom, who in their right mind would take the job?

Go ahead, play the victim

PPD this article is a joke, giving stick to Chelsea for no reason.

This has nothing to do with class. VJ is just clutching at straws. Chelsea fans never wanted Rafa as manager, fair enough - their choice, their decision. Just as Liverpool fans never took to Hodgson. Again their choice, their decision.

Were Liverpool fans lacking in class for wanting Hodgson out? No. Just as Chelsea fans aren't either in regards to Rafa.

The funny thing is, Rafa's record at Chelsea is not at all dissimilar to Hodgson's record at Liverpool. In fact, considering Chelsea have been a much better team than Liverpool of late, Hodgson's record at Liverpool actually fairs much better in comparison (and in terms of expectation) to Rafa's record at Chelsea.

All the stadium announcer did today was thank the Chelsea fans for their support - something that every single stadium announcer does at every ground up and down the country. When stadium announcers do that, they are not commenting on the vocal nature of that support, but merely upon the number of people who turned up - or in other words, it's just a comment that is followed up after stating the attendance for the game in question.

To read anything else into that really is pathetic.

What was the Heysel comment made on this thread?

You must have seen it, as you indicate that you know what it was. So what was it?

Yes I did, prove that didn't happen and I will apologize to everyone.

Ripleys I don't disagree with you to be fair , I am biased towards Rafa and liverpool of course and I did think Roy was treated unfairly but they have been far far harsher with the treatment of Rafa

posted on 2/3/13

Yes, I think Liverpool fans were underwhelmed but by no means disgusted by Roy's appointment. He dug his own grave, Rafa's was ready waiting for him.

Prove what dint happen?

Ripleys i deleted so quick I forgot word for word what he said but knew it wasn't fair or appropriate

FLD doesn't even have the guts to own up to what he said. Pathetic really. Complete imbecile.

I said yes I said it, I also said if you prove that what I said about what the Liverpool fans did that night wasn't true, I will apologize to everyone on this board.

I think he has admitted it and then said prove he isn't right!

Just to be clear.....I can see all commets that have been deleted he was not mocking heysel but was unhappy at his own club being labelled a disgusting club and that he would rather people didn't throw stones.

We would agree with the stone throwing at each others clubs...It never ends well.

Frankie... I think you are out of order mate. I won't get into a slanging match on here. Yes I wind up other teams / fans but why people feel the need to get personal and that nasty is beyond me.

This article is an attack on CFC and them being classless so the article was never likely to be pleasant.

You can delete all my comments now, filter me if you must, but kindly look yourself in the mirror and stop acting better than everyone else

Neo, well if VJ wasn't (by his own admittance) so quick to delete it, you'd actually know what he said.

As it is, you don't actually know what FLD said, so you can't really make a judgement either way.

VJ - so you don't disagree with me "to be fair". You admit that you're biased towards Rafa. Nothing wrong with that. What is wrong however is reading into things (such as drawing a conclusion on what the stadium announcer said), and then putting up a thread that is in itself disrespectful, antagonistic, and argumentative in regards to Chelsea and that club's supporters.

You didn't have to make this thread. You didn't have to be antagonistic in regards to Chelsea. Yet you were. You, in my opinion, read too much, too quickly, into an occurance at Chelsea (the stadium announcer thanking the Chelsea fans for their support), and in turn slated the club, and it's fans, for that.

Not necessary for you to do that. And I think you now realise that.

Admin, if the Liverpool fans on this board want me banned from this board, I understand

Thank you.

I admitted that I wind up other clubs / fans but lets get real, I make remarks about plastic flags and their disgusting treatment of Rafa. They could question our treatment of Roy but Heysel to me was way off the mark.
