RVP has 19 goals in 82 shots with 44 shots on target. 4.3 shots per goal.
Suarez has 21 goals in 116 shots, with 54 shots on target. 5.5 shots per goal.
Aguero has 9 goals in 57 shots, with 30 shots on target. 6.3 shots per goal.
Dzeko has 12 goals in 58 shots, with 25 shots on target. 4.8 shots per goal.
if suarez was a better finisher (and less of a hardy haar) hed be pushing messi and ronaldo
but ATM, despite him ebing rubbish this year, id rather have aguero, he can create his own shot and create for others and, when on form is a outstanding finisher.

If you're a numbers person then you must acknowledge that Suarez has scored more than everyone else. That's the numbers. No one can beat Suarez in league goal scoring this season

i like to look deeper than that. More to what meets the eye.
Then you must admit that number of goals is more important than number of goals per shot. Goals win games after all. Not shots. Goals get you the golden boot. Not shots. Goals make you the best goalscorer. Not shots.
there was an article in the ES the other day about it (basically wondering if Bale was is the same class as Suarez and RvP)
basically had Suarez and Bale about the same on conversion with RvP the best but it wasn't anything dramatic. Last season yes, this season no.
Interestingly Suarez had created a mountain more chances for others (almost double) that of the the other two.
In fairness to Bale, he only moved to a more central/free role in the last month or two and is scoring for fun.
Suarez has never been an out and out striker until recently so he's effectively learning a new position like Bale.
RvP is statistically the best finisher but he's been a world class striker for ages (he has grey hair FFS) and he's always played mainly through the middle.

what does that have to do with anything if he is top goal scorer in the league, goals that count not how many fecking chances he needs to put them away.

it means that if someone like RVP or aguero had as many chances as him, theyd have alot more goals.
