I see that assets you bought for £5m have been revalued at £40m to make the balance sheet look better...
Who was the guy that done that before....David something....liked moonbeams...
Hardly surprising, our revenue will be reduced until we get back to the top.
Compare the revenue figures of Celtic and QPR for instance.
Rangers an Celtic are both bigger than QPR, but the competition hey are in dictates the revenue.

Lets face it, £40m is much more realistic.
You really have to be totally obsessed to go through a club's (they aren't even your rivals) accounts.
Aw that money nimmo....and they're still trainin on a "freebie"
Lets face it, £40m is much more realistic.

Arbitrary figure tho Mitre...
Hardly surprising? Mr Green was shouting about how financially strong the club was to ANYONE that would listen.
That figure is front loaded as well - it has all season book costs etc included and anyone who has any knowledge of football clubs knows that the latter half of the year is all cost...
I have to say i was amazed at a £7m loss...

I am.
I admit it.
Without you I am lost.
Shame there is less of me or someone may have told your previous club that its finances were shot to bits....oh wait...

why? did you forget all the oldco's footballing debt and fines the newco has had to pay?
the year end and next interim figures will give a better picture of the finances. no one off payments and no old debts/ fines to be settled

But you deliberately made it sound like green was up to some dodgy trick to list a 50,000 seater stadium and big training centre as being worth more than £5m. Every single company would list these items at much greater than £5m.

No. but that only accounts for £2.8 of the £7m loss.
On the face of it the club is hemorrhaging money with half of the year still to go with very little income evident (sponsor deals dont kick in till next football year)...but it seems some of your fellow posters want Rangers to be the new "Fight club"
First rule of fight club....dont talk about fight club...

He also bought back the car park and bought the old rangers club from murray to develop, There were always going to be huge(in relative terms)start up costs
=============================
I actually think these will be accounted for in the next half.
Ed house and the Albion were deals done in 2013 I'm sure.

their hands are tied on the revenue front, we are limited what we can charge for tickets due to the SFL rules. we also aren't receiving our entitlement to TV money as we were blackmailed into giving this up for league membership
Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

To be honest, although you are milking it a little, you are right.
The club is losing money and this shows the need to get back to the SPL.
Ticket prices should rise next year.

alot will depend on league re-construction. if we get a genuine promotion then yes, if not then i can't see them being able to justify it tbh.

Unless these will be bought from cash reserves then the figures are going to look awful Mitre.
For Rangers now share price is king. This is how all of these guys now in charge will make money.
Other thing is the cost base is incredibly high...£16.6m suggest annual costs of over £32m!!!
if wages really are £8m what the hell is costing that...sure as hell it aint the cost of running Ibrox and Murray park...
