I'm sure it would go down a storm with those on a low income who have to pay full wack for a season ticket.

I'm on what could probably be described as a middle income. I'd be quite happy with any incentive to bring more fans in for matches. More fans, more atmosphere.

BUT - I'd then want to see my ST renewal price showing a similar level of incentive, even if it doesn't equate to the savings the casual fans would make.

The ST price needs to be reduced next season, and hopefully with the low prices they tried and the increased attendances, GFH will offer better prices.

But between now and the end of the season, can only help the club to get more people going and reduce match day prices for say Students or Under 16s, and increase the attendances.

Obviously people who have ST will have complaints, but if this leads to bigger crowds and encourages the club to lower ST prices for next season, then it's good for everyone.

Paid my season ticket, couldn't care what they charge

More fans equal better experience for me ie better atmosphere

Agree with LIW.......also maintains the fanbase and encourages future supporters

This isn't really comparable to season tickets. It's not something they do regularly, it's something they pull out when they're not expecting a big crowd to get some people in who wouldn't go otherwise.

Personally, whilst I would love my ST to be cheaper, I wouldn't bemoan any attempt to get more fans into the ground as it vastly improves my matchday experience.
