No Moyes didn't get all of the Lescott fee and I think you'll find David Moyes came out and said so.We actually had a negative net spend that season of somewhere in the region of £2,500,000.This will be the third season in a row that the club have not provided it's manager with a transfer budget and to be honest I cannot see a time when the present incumbents will be able to provide one again.Perhaps you could explain the positive case for the current regime as I doubt you have one.

With the papers full of transfer tittle tattle mostly surrounding departures from Goodison of late, Bluekipper got a whisper at the weekend that Jag will definitely not be leaving Everton.

The grounded star and his family are settled in the North West and the bright lights of Old Lahndan town do not interest Jags. He is more than happy at Everton, and more than happy to honour his contract.

If our insider is true to his word and The Jag is staying then Arsenal can go and sing for someone else. Let's hope Bainsey, Mikky, Jack the Lad and whoever else in mentioned in the daily rags follow suit.

Come to think of it with all these clubs after our stars it must mean that we have a cracking side ourselves, so less doom and gloom and let's get behind the lads with the season only a fortnight away.

You will have to explain it to David Moyes too as he was at loggerheads with Kenwright over Kenwright's claims that Moyes had recieved all of the Lescott fee.

You don't have to explain anything to me as I like many others are acutely aware that there is Sweet FA for Moyes to spend yet again this year too.

You can continue to argue that incoming fees are spent on drawing down debt and offering better contracts and anything else you can think of but it still doesnt alter the fact that we no longer provide a Premiership manager with the tools to do his job.No transfer funds for three years and counting.tic toc.

Apart from an unexplainable and cynical flurry of activity around the time they were trying to push DK through (a quote from The Guardian no less although I added the word cynical) this boards dealings have been pretty pathetic.Here's another quote from the Guardian from just before they sold Rooney "If Everton, who have offloaded 15 professionals and signed only one, Marcus Bent, this summer, are to flourish, it is surely via the cheque for Rooney's services" Basically they have been utterly useless and the only times they have been able to provide the manager with funds was after selling Rooney,Lescott and trying to bribe us to go to Kirkby.

Very good. Doesnt change the fact that we sold a £20mn player and brought in £20mn's worth of new players does it?.

Wasn't Moyes's gripe that we still needed more spending on top of the Lescott money....not that he hadn't had all of it to spend?.

No his gripe was that he hadn't had all of it Kenwright like you was going around telling anyone who'd listen that he had.Moyes hit back in the press.If you dont believe me or Moyes look up Moyes reaction in the press or even have a look at the figures in the Transfer League.

Moyes never said we didn't spend lescott money, why do you insist on talking balls day after day. You have zero credibility due to this 'relaxed attitude' to truth/ reality. As for me being pro BK, I like everyone would like a new board and money to spend, but like many other people on here I realize we are a difficult sell to an investor, and I for one would be devastated if our great club ended up in the hands of chicken farmers.
