Interesting activity. Seems CH is getting some of his choices in to strengthen a small squad. We will need some more as well to get through a long season, many game in the Championship and Europe & cups too.
As i put on my other thread, i think fans need to not look at the quality we have lost but look at what we had last time.
Carr i feel is the better RB but Spector is young, will no doubt earn less and can play in more roles.
Last time in the Championship we had Kelly as RB and Parnaby as that RB who can cover other areas.
This time we have Carr and Spector if the deal goes through.

Is Spector left or right footed?
Left side defence or right side defence?
I know he's also played in midfield but I think he's to be used at the back.
KRO
Well he is to West Ham last season what Parnaby was to us.
He is a defender who plays at RB and CB but can play LB or even anywhere in Midfield.
If Carr stays i see him as Parnaby replacement, but he could also give Caldwell competition at CB and if Ridgewell goes also competition for LB with Murphy.
I think we will see Dann and Ridgewell go and think ontop of Spector we would see 2-3 more defenders come in by the end of the window.
McCartney and Kilgallon linked before, and we can loan more than 1 player from same club as last time we loaned Bendtner, Larsson and Muamba from Arsenal.

Losing Carr would be a real blow for us, he was awesome on Saturday. Friendly? No one told him. The energy he has is awesome and it is that attitude - in the dressing room and out on the pitch - that will get us the chance to get promoted.
For me we really need to hang on to Michel, Beau, Carr and Jerome above all else, I think these four plus the new signings & the kids would be a good basis for us, Saturday proved that Redmond & Mutch are both ready to play regularly. KRo
I would like us to keep Carr his experience would be vital and his leadership i think he would be worth keeping myself.
But i could understand that if we got a offer say about £500K and a chance to save his wages, then thats £1.5M ish that can be invested elsewhere.
