Hunt being offered a new 5 year contract.

He'll have played nearly 20 games for us then!

In all seriousness, yes he is a good bloke, yes he puts in a shift, yes he tracks back to support the defence but we have Peszko and Boukhari who can play on the right without moving Sako from his favoured left side, and both are qucker and better crossers than Bilbo. Bilbo has lost all semblence of ball control and when he tracks back it is normally to try to win back the ball which he has just given away.
And to put it into perspective, Jarvo scored more goals last season and Sako has scored more goals this season than Bilbo has scored for us in the entire time he has been on the books.
So I say thanks but no thanks Bilbo, your time at Molineux is up.

The only trouble with that Dances is that we don’t have Boukari at the moment and Peszko doesn’t seem to be in Saunders’ plans. That may be as simple as him not rating him or something may have gone on who knows.
Hunt is a long, long way from being back to his best if Friday is anything to go by but he’ll get further chances this season when Sako fades out of games as he does at times or when Saunders thinks we need a bit more bite than Sako offers. That’s where I see him contributing mainly this season as cover for Sako but he has had plenty of games on the right for us as well so he could crop up there.
Whether he gets offered an extension at the end of the season or not is an entirely different thing. That will depend on what we see between now and May but his time could well be up at the end of the season.

You're right about Pez and Boukari tatts. What the hell has happened to Peszko? I would dearly like to know. I can't wait for Boukari to get match fit and really hope that he stays fit. I know we haven't seen much of him but the brief glimpses that we had were very promising. He just might turn out to be as good if not better than Sako - or is that just wishful thinking?

Nothing wrong with a bit of wishful thinking Dances. I’ve only seen a few minutes of him but the reports from his start at Ipswich(?) were very positive so who knows.
Hopefully we’ll know soon enough but after a layoff as long as the one he’s had he’s going to take a few games to get back up to speed and that’s if he doesn’t pick up the sort of minor injury players often get when returning from a major one. We may know very little until next season to be honest.

Just gossip surely, sorry Stephen you were good in your day but you haven't been able to maintain any levels of fitness for a long time. Your wages must be high too, which we certainly won't afford in league 1.
