To be fair they haven't have they? Bates was probably replying to a question about new recruits. No names were mentioned - just that they were 'rather good mid-fielders' Maybe Mendes is one of them?

Have you watched Mendy a good player and will get better, If you want to include Bodor who is/was a Hungarian international, there may be someone else but the clue was when he said one of them can play forward and Mendy has that on his CV.

If there are two others i would be surprised, if we sign the trialist from yesterday id be happy, maybe one more midfielder added to the squad,

The press has, Castles has, this forum has BUT KB and SG haven't.
