Team for tonight needs to be full-strength,

I much prefer a full strength team and then sub IF you get to 3-0 or something, rather than starting half a team

Having said that, I would not mind is Carroll Caulker and Gallas got a start tonight, if the balance in the team is right.

Think we'll see Brad I'm afraid.

I think AVB said he was going to play Brad?

Brad is as good as Lloris I guess only a bit slower. So that shouldn't be a problem

I heard Inter have been decimated by injuries and have brought loads of youth players into the squad.

You might be ok playing a weaker side with an eye on Sunday. What time is ko?

You're playing Inter not Ipswich.

Cheers.

Looking forward to the game. I watched the Milan derby the other week and Di Sciglio caused them all sorts of problems down the left hand side in the first half. Bake could really cause them problems again. Didn't look great at the back.

Came into it the second half and looked pretty dangerous in attack.

Handanovic will take some getting past. Incredible keeper.

Fullback killer, you are spot on there
Drog=Torres bar the goals
Both hard working players on a different settings
Drog on a big match day while Torres with an average team

I'm happy with some rotation - I think it motivates players as well.

I expect to see Gallas partner Vertonghen at CB and either Dempsey or Holtby start.

inter will be making massive changes

And Inter would be so disappointed if we left Bale out after naming 9 right backs in their squad.

Don't rest players

"Don't rest players"

Dey can do that doh, can't dey doh.

I dont see the point in resting the goalkeeper if you're going to play full strength outfield.

You cant predict injuries but i bet outfield players are more inclined to get injured than goalkeepers.

If we play Brad, you might as well put your money on us conceding from a set-piece.

TOOR....I am not saying we will beat them 3-0 but i just prefer us to start strong and rest/sub IF we build a lead.

Done it in 2 or 3 games this season.

Mind you we beat Inter 3-1 when they came as European Champions. They are, reportedly, suffering from key injuries....may be we could turn them over, rest a few players ready to demolish LFC at the weekend!

I always think we should play a strong side. We find ourselves in certain positions that we have a strength in depth in the squad so that our 2nd choice player is nearly as good as the first choice or has experience in certain types of games - this is why I would play Gallas tonight.

I would also like to see Holtby on from the start as I think he will link up well with Defoe.

Yep. Be brutal and get the job done as quickly as possible tonight.
An emphatic win on sunday will send a very strong message for the remaining 9 PL games.

Is your game vs pool home or away?

posted on 7/3/13

Away.

Want to be sending the message that no so-called "big" club is stopping us getting a CL slot this year.
