i think reina will get it but agger is not far off. this is an issue that we don't really have too many leaders. thats why carra is in the team at the minute so we need to replace his leadership qualities as well as his footballing qualities.

I don't think it should be Suarez.
Simply because we still need someone without a 'title' that is still a powerful presence.
If we give it to Lucas, that gives him that extra authority.
Seeing as Suarez has already captained the team in the absence of Gerrard, it will be Suarez.
Our best player who also captained Ajax.
It will also be more of an anchor for him to stay, and foist some responsibility into his play too.
Vice captain , Suarez. There is no doubt.
Agger or Lucas; both more likely to be here for a while IMO.
I'd say Agger too but second choice probably GJ over Lucas.
Agree with redinthehead though, it's more than likely to be Suarez.
make him vice and tie him down to the club
Brendan feels we're quiet in defence without Carragher. Perhaps giving Agger more responsibility will bring him out more. Plus he's given us years of service and clearly loves the club. He deserves it.
Making people captain/vice captain doesn't tie them down to the club, all it really does is put a finer point on the fact that the club can't hold on to senior players if they do leave.
Look at Arsenal, they've lost plenty of captains in the past half a decade, Wenger dangled the captaincy carrot in front of his next best player every time his best one left. Modric being made captain at Spurs didn't change anything either.
Agger and Lucas strike me as the sort of players who'll be around pretty much as long as we want them, I'd rather make one of them the long term captain rather than have Suarez captain and have to wonder every summer if we're going to lose our captain.
*Make them vice captain, obviously.
Agger! Leads by example and puts his body online for the team
There's a lad by the name of Biscan. The title captain maybe below him though. Gruppenfuhrer would be more appropriate
Lucas all day long. Then Agger.
Lucas for me..
I can't forget how he told Shelvey off couple of season back and trying to score from halfway line instead of passing to players in better position.
Lucas ... that's all I have to say
