does anybody have a clue when the replay is??
I was a bit dissapointed at 2 things yesterday. the first is that we completely took our foot off the gas at 2-0. the second is that we didnt change it when we were getting overrun. very very lucky to be in the cup still.
Performances like yesterday made me realise that 12 points could mean jack sh 1t .
3-0 United.
Chelsea are average. We should beat them quite comfortably when our squad is refreshed. We could have gone in at half time 4 or 5 - 0 yesterday. Legs went in the second half and the players looked shattered. That was the most lethargic performance I've seen all season.
Only an idiot would think we'll win easily at the Bridge no matter what the circumstances.
We have won there only twice in 15 years. It's going to be an extremely difficult job. We fecked it badly yesterday.
Chelsea are average.
Words of a true idiot. That wasn't an average team you played yesterday. They have problems but they have some really fantastic players who can hurt you. They are vulnerable at the back but they sure aint average.
Hazard in particular after a slow start looks more and more the part.
You didn't win vs us in the league, Clattenburg won. 11 v 11 you always struggle vs us

Wow.. considering that was a wind up, it worked
I couldn't care less about Chelsea or the F.A. Cup. Reclaiming the league is all I give a toss about this season.
To be honest, apart from United, all of the teams in the PL are average this season. Only United offered any sort of decent showing in europe and the league title is looking increasingly likely even though we're only just in to March.

By virtue of their tie being schedule after ours.
Furthermore, if you watched their home game against Bayern, you should know that they were out of the competition a long time before United

Hmm... see thats what is confusing people here. We have just been as average as most of the other teams. Our only advantage is a bigger squad being able to cope. Many times, the game seen yesterday has happened, a lot. The amount of games were we start well and suddenly like a switch has been flipped we being to perform averagely is numerous. Most times we have survived, some other times we have been extremely lucky. A truly great game has yet to be played by us.
To be fair the whole of the prem has been average this year, just look at the teams still in the CL there is only one stand out team, Bayern.
The Chelsea squad should ave done more than they have, but having an owner who thinks e knows more than the manager will only ever result in crap results. If Chelsea had a couple f decent CF's they would be a tach fir united.

Spot on. Been saying for years that our squad is great, our team is not that special.
Also, Chelsea weren't great at OT. That is the worst United performance I can remember for many years. We deserved to get completely battered in the second half.
The signs were there in the first half with the sloppy passes etc, it's just Chelsea were just as awful in the first half and we took the two chances we had. Second half the whole team decided to just not bother and Chelsea upped their game.

Clattenburg didn’t win it for United at all. If Nani’s was a red card against Real then Torres’ head kick in the Chelsea v United league game should have been a straight red as technically that was even more dangerous (even though he too like Nani never took his eye off the ball). Ivanovic was a clear red card Young was clean through on goal.
If United always struggle 11 v 11 against Chelsea how come Chelsea have only won one of the last eight clashes between the clubs? And that lone defeat was in a League Cup clash where United fielded a second string side.
I would say that United v Chelsea are always highly competitive games than in many cases could have gone either way. But to say United always struggle 11 v 11 against Chelsea is quite frankly laughable and not backed up by results over the past few years.
United do struggle when Chelsea have a full team out on the pitch. It's true.
About time i had one of these
Not as much as Chelsea struggle with United. That's why Chelsea haven't beaten United in a truly significant match for over two years now and are nineteen points behind them in the league. The games are normally tight and it's always a hard game for both teams. But the games are obviously slightly harder for Chelsea in recent years as the results show.
I disagree. And the nineteen point gap is hardly a reflection of purely Chelsea against United, is it? It's a reflection of what a bad season Chelsea are having, compared to "normal". And by comparison United are having a better one.
Until earlier this season you hadn't won at the Bridge, in the league, for almost a decade. Does that sound like a team we struggle against all that much?
No ref to bailed u out at the Bridge we will toke United
Yeah, because we get nothing but favours from refs right? It's not as if any decisions gave gone against us lately.

"I was a bit disappointed at 2 things yesterday. the first is that we completely took our foot off the gas at 2-0."
Foot was never on the gas in the first place, United were believe it or not still in first gear when those two goals went in due to defensive errors.
United didn't play particularly well in the first half, I would say you were just as woeful as us in the first half. Go have a watch of the match again guarantee your view will change.
Believe it or not we penned United back for large parts of the first half but our build up play/tempo/intensity was woefully lethargic, end product abysmal as well.
