i remember thinking i had completed the Spurs team and waiting for my Dad to get home from work so i could show him, only to find out that i had completed Norwich (Yellow kit) It broke my heart.

Bless your cotton socks
Funniest memory for me must have been when I was 6 or 7 I think and I couldn't understand why we were called Spurs as a nickname, I thought it was something to do with horses (don't ask ), only for my Dad to explain the Tottenham HotSPURS bit
First game was in 1998 I think against Newcastle at the Lane, 2-0
Best memory? Ossie's testimonial; Maradonna linking up with Hoddle - enough said
my first game was sometime in the 58/59 season, sitting in the shoulders of two supporters of our opponents of the (millwall I think )
and me going mad when we scored and my dad telling me to calm down and threatening me with no more games. Didnt help as been a spurs fanatic for more years than i want to count
Not funny, but a memory I'll never forget...
Going down to Tottenham on my birthday (must have been 7 or 8) and I met Jurgen Klinsmann He was at the Lane for some promotion deal (his boots I think). I wanted his autograph but didn't have a pen or paper But the nice security man on the front gate got some paper and Mr Jurgen Klinsmann wished me a happy birthday and signed me a nice note
best memory?!
newcastle away(my first away day),the first time they were in the prem,we played them opening day of the season....
we won 1-0(teddy i think)there is nothing like the buzz of an away day win,the players to a man all came over to us........
getting goose bumps just thinking about it.
first time at the lane, jeez, early 90's.
funniest memory, home vs ipswich,we scored 3/4 early goals,me and my mates............?!
stuck outside 'cos some melt forgot his membership booklet..............
nothing bout tottenham but best memory is getting run over by King Eric. was at a charity fundraiser (taste for adventure) with brummy stokes (guy who climbed everest and lost his toes) as he was leaving i got pushed into his car and he ran over my ankle. came into ambulance and his minder spoke to me then got a signed card wishing me well and scarf and some other stuff. could've given me tickets the git lol.
first match that i can remember is against galatasary in champs league 1994 we won 4-0 and gary walsh was in goal! member him??????
First time :
The first home game after the 9-0 demolition of Bristol Rovers at age 10 (thoughts : am I really missing stuff like that when my mates are going ?? ) .
Best memories :
The 1978 home games against Bolton and Hull (wow, *50000* gates for *Division 2* games) .
Ricky Villa and Gazza at Wembley.
Funniest memory :
Vs Goons 1989 (Gazzas' first home game) .
Stuck in the corner (West Stand / Park Lane) .
Mars bars raining down when he came to take the corner.
Spurs fan at the front cupping his ear towards their fans when the Goons were 3-1 up, and nearly getting thrown out when the Goon fans went rabid at his antics (cannot hear you, Goons ) .
Best memory, taking my Dad, who's fault it is that I'm a Spurs fan, to our first CL match against Young Boys. He hasn't been too well for the last couple of years so we sat in the East Upper and had a great view. I'm just glad I didn't take him to the first leg, I don't think his heart could've taken it!
Funniest, a toss up between the ballboy throwing the ball into the Anorthosis Famagusta player's nuts and Keane doing a couple of stepovers on the wing leaving Bhoularouz on his arris without even going near him.
I have a pretty short memory.
V Everton October 1958 (where did those years go??)
It was Billy Nicholson's first match as manager & my first visit to the Lane.
Result? Spurs 10 Everton 4................................
Only two players from the Double winning team were playing that day, Danny B & Bobby Smith who got a great hat trick!
No wonder I became a hooked up Spurs man!!

Quite a telling story that.
You saw the genesis of what would become 1960-61, and a couple of yrs beyond that.
I am now convinced that Spurs must become the new Forest. A squad of good players must be forged into greater than the sum of their parts, by mgmt who can really man-manage.
NEW STRIKER ??
He can be our Trevor Francis (when we have earned the honours/monies to afford and be worthy of him) .
Shelfside......................Hardly, we finished 18th in the 1958/59 season!!
The RDBD.............................little did I know what was to come!
