The only thing that can stop Barca is a battering ram like Giroud.

Well this is boring.

The ball stuck to him like glue Pete, and he could pick a pass he was a quality player. If he scored more goals he'd have been world class
(The above is a serious comment btw)

what is an away team meant to do?

barca are ball hogging bullys and any rough play on them results in a foul

there is no other way to play against barca. they force this style on you.

Gerood would score 45 goals if he played for Barca

Giroud is a quality striker, he'd be first choice in Milan

I know, that's why it would get boring.

Milan could always take the ball away from Barca and pass it around and create chances.

Diva please would you just cut out these wums.

Gerood is decent but not top class. A poor mans Dzeko, a rich mans grant holt

Niang is 18, El Shawary is 20, Giroud is 26, he has more big game experience and knows where the back of the net is

"He was good, but I dont think he was anywhere near good enough to start for Barca"
============================================
Me neither, but I don;t blame him for thinking he did at that time. He'd had a great season and was outstanding - just ask Cesc. Integral in almost every forward thrust we sprung that season - the best we've had since the whole austerity project.

Barca, in 2008 were awful. Not many saw what was to come, especially when a rookie manager was called up to take over first team affairs. I don't blame him for thinking he was capable of forcing his way in.
