Big thank you to India for making every English fan have good laugh. Good test and great result for India. If you want a big laugh go look at the excuses from Aussie fans on cricinfo, ranging from this is our second team out here to the fact that they may be loosing 3 nil here but it's 4 - 3 to Aussies over the last 2 series apparently.

Congratulations to India. This was by far closest fought of the three tests so far. Hopefully Australia will get better in the next game to add some excitement. Time for India to try Rahane in place of Dhawan(provided he is injured). Don't go back to Ghambir or Sehwag. That would be a step backwards.

There is a possibility of a Pak V India tour in UAE August/September which may tempt him to carry on. Hope he does too.

India are looking like test team again since they had a clear out.

Exciting end to the test, even more so for me because I had a couple of quid on an Indian win @5/2 after the first day was washed out

i actually want to see tendulkar carry on. He has struggled with spin but in SA that wont be the problem.

I just like his true passion, and hopefully ends his career in a high. Ind vs Pak would be amazing to watch

Glad India won in-spite of a day lost due to rain and fantastic batting by Dhawan along with his amazing strike rate that gave India chance to win the match. Now India should try some other pace bowlers instead of Ishant in the last test if possible.

the changes were required and we have seen the result already. The old players including vvs, sehwag, gauti, bhajji, and zak got a bit complecent.

the youngsters like we saw with kohli in aus, would have given a decent fightback. Looking foward to see how india prepare for SA.

I would like to add that if ind pak tour is just a month before SA tour then it shouldnt happen. The more important tour for india is SA because they need change their record away from home. I want the indian players to be fit and ready for SA then come out tired from pak tour.

when is the saffers tour viru? i though pakistan and india was due like in sept/oct this year?

in november (i think). they are due to play 4 tests, and then go to NZ in jan-feb 2014.

Even pakistan could have prepared better if they didnt come to india, so I would rather they go 3 weeks early to SA and do well. Cause no matter how well india do at home, they have lost 8tests on the trott away from home. so pressure to win will be there.
