Well as only four clubs from the UK get to that point of lockout football why change it?

A replay.....where and when would this be played?

What does it matter how many clubs get there? It's about football on the whole and an outdated rule deciding games. Do you agree with it or not and what are the reasons?

It's clear you haven't read the thread, all your questions have been answered and you jumped in with your first comment. Have a read over the thread.

Goals scored even at 2 matches of 90 mins - into extra time no advantage for away goals, then penalties. Sorted.

So you asked me my opinion......then said read the thread.....

Yeah, you didn't give your opinion, you asked question which have been answered.

I gave my opinion...

Its a system that rewards an away team going out to attack. Bayern got three away and Arsenal 2. do you think arsenal would have gotten two away if the were winning 2:1 from the first leg.

Sides know the pro's and cons...

i thought the issue was more to do with extra time, the rule still counting not being fair, as one has more time still to get the away goal compared to the other.

But that's the luck of home or away draw first/last.

You still know what's needed in extra time.

Just go straight to penno's and no extra time after two lots of 90 mins is the way

And there's the example of the away goal advantage in extra time.

TOOR

Exactly, how is Spurs having and extra 30 mins of the rule fair?

True, in that instance it has made a more exciting last few minutes but is it fair and does the better team over the two legs go through?

True, so why should one team go through and the other miss out? I feel penalties could settle it.

Or do the penalties as suggested.

I think it's two different arguments. I feel the away goals rule should be scrapped. If not, away goals in extra time, at least. I feel they may well look at it now that an English club have benefited from it.

It could happen in steps, first the away goal in extra time and then the away goal altogether. I wouldn't be surprised if this is looked at in the near future.

I would be very surprised if itnis changed. Only when the away goal rule effects a club does this happen. Fiorentina a few years ago......no everton fans moaning as we(and the club knew the deal)

Not at all, this happened before this all Fell. It's been doing the rounds all season and many times in previous seasons. I even made an article about it. As stated in this article it gets highlighted more after it happens, which is normal.

TOOR.

I just don't agree that's all. What next....FA cup games to all be played at neutral venues?

One side will always have an advantage, its the luck of the draw.

I don't see why two-legged games have to be played at a neutral venue.

And I never said they should. But should FA cup games be allowed to have one side with home advantage??
