Big weekend in the title race.

Just hope we play a full strength side, a few more wins and the title will be over.

I think we will. We don't have many '2 games in a week' situations till the end of the season so could probably play strong teams every week bar the FA Cup easter weekend.

If Everton can get a draw or win against City then i'd imagine the atmosphere at Old Trafford in our evening game against Reading will be top notch knowing that a win will put us at least 14 points clear with 9 games to go.

You would think so, but you'd be wrong.

Everton aren't in the best form. I can see City winning this one.

Bit of a shame. You going Red Side?

Maybe but Saints and QPR weren't in the best of form and still took points off City.

I won't be shocked if City win and i'll still be 100% of the belief we'll win the title but I just feel that Everton seem to have City's number recently.

as long as the atmosphere is better than what was served up at the Allianz arena

Unfortunately not Rob, I looked at going but flights were ridiculous.

I made a thread about this the day the Reading Manager got sacked. I hoped they would not appoint anyone new until after the game to avoid this 'New Manager Syndrome'.

The pressure is still on us more than City, because even if they win all their games doesn't mean they will win the league. While the P.L is watching us closely, expecting us to falter like we did last season.

I really do hope Everton and pull of a win, it'd do nothing but fire up our squad, because I can tell you now that we're still disheartened, on a downer and players physically tired. Something needs to make them feel invincible again!

Normally the atmosphere there is decent but 500 or so of their hardcore supporters had a dispute with the club over entry restrictions so weren't in attendance.

It goes to show what a group of 500-600 supporters sitting or standing and singing together can do for an atmosphere.

Really? I always imagined flights from Norn Iron were cheap to Manchester (I think you said you were from there)

How much are ferries across?

Would'nt worry too much about city, as long as we don't slip up, they'll run out of games.

Dark

I just think that Chelsea game came too soon after the Real game for us to be properly fired up.

After a week off, no matter what happens in the Everton game if we can batter Reading (and maybe RVP scores) we will push on again.

The airlines obviously guessed that the Reading game would be a Saturday kick-off, Norwich as well so the flight prices were already quite high when I looked.

I did the ferry from Larne over to Cairnryan for the first time last weekend for the Chelsea game. The journey over wasn't too bad but the journey back was terrible. The leg room on the coach was horrendous for a 6 hour journey.

Looking to go to the Chelsea FA Cup replay but highly unlikely I'll get a ticket even with the increased allocation.

Its annoying that the City game is before us as it would have been nice to extend our league before city have to play - they seem to play better when not under pressure, when they were ahead last year and in the champions league they have found it tough - they even almost blew it against QPR on the last day as well we really just need to concentrate on ourselves - it would be nice to win it sooner rather than later - the double is still possible and it would make up for being knocked out the CL in such gutting circumstances

I've got a feeling Everton will get something after their woeful performance against Wigan.

They'll be well up for that game.

Definitely Rob - We need RVP to score again, as he needs the confidence back. I wish Hernandez got more game-time too, because regardless of anything, he's always managed to put the ball back in the net. He's still our best goal per minute ratio striker. Don't think that's changed since he's been at the club with us!

Agreed Dark. And yet some people still doubt him as a United starter.

I feel that if he played every week he'd score 30+ goals a season for us.

I can see City winning every game between now and the end of the season. Their form has picked up at the right time.

First 10-15 minutes could be very important in the Everton/City game.

A good friend of mine is going tomorrow and he's still smarting from last week. The mood on the local phone-in this week hasn't been too bright neither, what with the Moyes contract situation and the level of performances since the start of February. Last week being the icing on the cake really.

I know they're recent record against City is very impressive but they look out of sorts at the moment. An early City goal and the mood might turn a little toxic, so they need to start well and show a bit more fight than the Wigan debacle.

Fancy City to edge this one. Regardless, you simply keep winning and it's irrelevant.
