Not really. Probert gave the decision for handball against Osman, which was correct. This incident happened first and was therefore dealth with. Good refereeing.

It brushed his finger. Probert was astute and wise enough to notice this breakage of the rules and award the correct and suitable punishment: a free kick situated exactly where the ball was handled. Fair game.
The most awful decision in that game was the blatant onside goal that was flagged offside. Shocking.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you so bothered about this (seeing as you're a Chelsea fan)? The result could really help Chelsea.
BECAUSE I dont want united to win league , never have and each time they do It hurts me
I thought you being a Chelsea fan you wanted this result so you can finish 2nd, not sure where you're coming from? Anyway, overall the ref had a mare for both teams
no we cant finish second anymore mate
I think I HAVE AN ANTI UNITED GENE, its in by genetic makeup.

You play the advantage and give the penalty.Poor refereeing even if Osman did handle the ball.
Small club mentality then! Small club with pots if money, never turned up last week returning nearly half their allocation and less than 30,000 at home on Thursday.....oh dear!

You were poor. Why don't you just admit it?
To be honest he disallowed a perfectly good Everton goal in the first half. Could easily have been 3-0
manunited will loose today

There was no advantage to be played. Probert dealt with the first incident immediately, because it was a handball. It isn't a case of selecting whichever one you want because the penalty would be more harsh. He seen the handball by Osman and gave the free kick in that exact position. Fantastic refereeing from a referee that actually had an awful game all round.
Have to agree with d'jeezus, it was a shocking call and should have been a pen! It seems city used all their luck last season
Yes Galvin. What is more advantageous, a free kick or a penalty.
The ref had not blown prior to the Fellaini handball, so the game is still in progress. Thus he should give the most advantageous decision to the offended against team.

City were lucky to get 0.

Correct but City didn't have the ball so the ref brought it back to the offence the FIRST offence you muppet if you start quoting the rules get it right!!
FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRK THEY WILL LOOSE UNITED DEVILS
anyone else see the irony in this statement
"Dirty mancs now celebrating"
about a decision given against City.
Conqueris or whatever your name is, a quick geography lesson, us city fans consider ourselves to be mancs as well, so some of us mancs are not happy
How can anyone moan about Fellaini's handball after Mirallas's goal was wrongly ruled offside.
