We don't want that thug at our club, doesnt matter how good he is.

The only thing being snapped up would be other footballers legs should we sign Barton! Nyah... nyah!

Parker would be alright.

Would rather pay to sign Parker than get Barton on a free.

He fits the bill for exactly what we need. Drive, enthusiasm and dare I say it, grit.

Unfortunately his track record of indecency means that many fans will be resistant to the idea of him coming.

I'm being serious. I am more concerned about our lack of leadership going into a season now more than ever.

There is not even one good reason to suggest the team will improve on last years failures, not one.

We need something to happen .. and FAST

werent some of your fans having a discussion on whether harry should sign him?

No. Sorry - it's just like when people said Van Nisterooy was the answer to our striker problem when Adebayor went. We just can't have someone like him representing our club.

We could do worse than Barton on a free. Maybe not as a first team player but when we have those troublesome games against the lower teams in the league who try to compensate for lack of skill with brawn, he would be very useful. Say Shawcross went in with bad challengeson Ramsey again, we brinjg on Barton to give a bit back.

Another thing we would see would be Barton cpoming out in the press saying he cant believe the difference in decisions being given against Arsenal compared to everyone else.

I don't mind Barton...

As long as he's playing for another team. I have no wish whatsoever to see him in an Arsenal strip. I don't like thugs and on the pitch, that's what he becomes. He's exactly the sort of player I would love to see the end of in the EPL. I believe there to be a difference between "Fine English grit" and plain old downright thuggery. It's a fine line but one that Barton regularly crosses.

To say you don't mind him WengersBodyguard2, those are some pretty strong words.

"I don't mind Barton. As long as he's playing for another team."
"He's exactly the sort of player I would love to see the end of in the EPL"

Do you not feel a little silly reading those quotes back, knowing you put them in the same paragraph together?
