The recent Spurs squads cannot withstand the rigours of a PL campaign, when the expectation/pressure is on. UEFA cup campaigns worsen the situation.

And the managers Spurs have recently had are of the calibre to be unable to do anything to change this fact. Which implicitly makes grandspur correct about what he said ages ago about AVB.

ENIC OTOH will have to ask themselves serious questions about the players and managers needed. Better players and managers than the plateau reached/maintained by Arry and AVB do not come cheap.

Players look jaded, tactics and formations do not help, and the rotation of players, AVB has done enough to show me he's good enough for the job
