Bayern thought they had job done.
Swanseas season finished at Wembley.
"the midfield is actually more balanced without Wilshere"
People don't like to admit it but its this

Well accordingly to the gossip page and the Daily fail its because the defense decided to act and sort themselves out after the Tottenham defeat.
The difference? Who knows. Wenger actually bothered to plan for the opposition. Defense actually prepared for the games. Both games meant little to the opposition.
All i know is that if we are on some crest, then it's important we continue riding it when the International break is over. Or else this "difference" would be just classified as a blip on luck.

this. And Wenger did change it for the Spurs game too but two moments of madness spoilt our game plan.
Wenger eventually did realise that we need stable at the back first and then a goal will come.

rubbish this.
I think arsenal are showing this form as wenger demands top 4 and to show that this arsenal team is not a joke the media thinks. This arsenal team may peak at the end of the season
I hope arsenal finish top 4 to then see the pundits faces who were joining the group of wenger out arsenal in crisis, super tottenham
You think top 4 is major step forward from the last 5/6 years.
Even if we get 4th its been a shocking season and questions have to be asked of Wenger and the board
Top 4 isn't a step forward. It's a good surprise though!!
Wenger threw away the League Cup & FA Cup to concentrate on getting Top 4. If he then fails to deliver Top 4 he deserves severe scorn.
They were outclassed in the CL, Bayern knew they had little to do.
I cant believe its taken 3/4 of the season to wake the manager and club up to the realities. Atrocious.
Personally i couldn't care less about Top 4.
Just want to finish above Spurs again
to be fair it's not like we outplayed Bayern but we grinded out a good result. then we beat a mid table team. don't think we've done anything that special.

Since when have Arsenal been know for Griding out results??
Also Swansea at home are a very good team and we controlled the match after 20Mins.
In both games we hardly gave the opposistion any clear chances and we took 2 ourselves.
I'd rahter we where solid at the back as we have players capable of unlocking any defence in the world.
Give me a 1-0 win over a 3-1/3-2 any day of the week.
Obviously 3-0 would be better but the team needs to think Clean sheet 1st, score goals 2nd.
If you keep a clean sheet it means you cant lose the game.
Well said Boss, if we can continue to be defensively solid and strengthen our strike force for next season, we cant go wrong
I'm not saying we don't deserve credit but we need to do it for more than 2 games before saying everything's changed, we need to show some consistency until the end of the season. The team is more than capable.
Your right 8Bit lets do it for a min 4-5 Games in a row before getting fully excited.
IMO he team is capable but then they get overconfident. Thinking its only (Insert Rubbish PL Team) we can beat them with ease and when they think like this we either lose or draw.
Thats where Fergie rules imo as he gets the players up for it every game unlike Wenger.
I think there has been a much more practical approach to defending recently. Also there is a slightly more confident and patient approach with regards to approaching games, it is amazing what a bit of confidence can do.
We need to keep attention to stay solid at the back and going behind with one goal first. We can score at every point of the game then.
That should be the tactics for our games to come.
