What? No it isn't. At all. If anything, it's like having the same girl but she's changed her hair to a colour that you don't like (or changed her technique in bed because playing with other boys has taught her that she can get the same result with less effort).

lol... nah she got fat, stopped trying in bed, stopped cooking because she knows I love her and I wont leave. Still with her, but it is out of loyalty.

You forget the most important thing of all. That it's a game and you have a choice. You act like United not playing fantasy football is some deadly virus that will kill us all.
Some games we will, some games we won't. It's not the end of the world but you come on here every single week and don't add one iota of positivity. You literally come across like a guy who can't seem to crack a smile and enjoy being a United supporter as opposed to the millions of supporters of other clubs that would kill to have half our success.
So like I said, you have a choice. Choose to act like how 11 grown men kick a ball around really matters to you or choose to just look at the glass half full.
women that get fat whilst their boyfriends stay in shape shouldn't complain when the boyfriend goes elsewhere. If my gf was getting fat i'd tell her to sort it out. I've got the rest of my life to bang her chubby ass after she's given me kids and let herself go. I won't abide her being fat before then!

Who are you to say that this young, inexperienced team aren't playing to their potential? Vidic has been injured for most of the season, Valencia has been useless, Young and Nani have been injured, whilst RvP and Kagawa are still adjusting to their new team mates. If you can't identify a team in transition, that's your problem.
*******************************
Look, you want to see our potential? see 10 man united pinnng down real madrid. See second half against spurs. All came after we had to leave this 1st gear football and actually play to our nature. It has nothing to do with vidics injury or valencia's form. It has more to do with our mentality. Everytime we have decided to play due to unfavourable conditions, you see what we can be.
Why cant we play like that against reading, AT HOME? saving energy? We were in a celebratory mode, the fans were electric, we had better players in literally every position, our next game was a week from now. I do not get how we can keep making escuses for average.

Because Reading camped 11 men behind the ball and offered nothing.
If you can't see that the opposition doing that in torrential rain means that it's very hard to play harlem globetrotter football then you're watching the wrong game.

Thank you. Especially when you have the money to pay for all the plastic surgery she needs!
I agree with Rob on that one, the conditions were absolutely atrocious. In those circumstances - on our pitch that is poor at the best of times - it's impressive that we were able to string a dozen passes together at times.
Reading set out to draw. They didn't threaten our goal once. The aim was to win, which we did.
I don't see the problem with that.

Like seriously shut it. harlem globetrotter is what you think I mean when I say we should be beating reading?
Is reading really the first team to pack the bus? literally every lower league does that. We still bash them in because parking the bus never used to stop us, till now when we play for 50 minutes THEN park our bus. This is our new formula to glory which failed against real and chelsea. We are more than a defensive team. We can be better. Not barca style but we a gradually finding the lowest possible we can play to win. That is the mentality of an underachiever not one trying to be the best it can be. No one can say this is the best way for a team to do well.
Like seriously shut it. harlem globetrotter is what you think I mean when I say we should be beating reading?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
But we did beat Reading.
And went 15 points clear.
And scored 69 goals in 29 games.
And beat Liverpool, Chelsea and City away.
You expect too much. Just sit back and realise everything goes in cycles.

And what if one fluke happened with those crosses they were bombing in at the end? a deflection, missed header and a team which should have been 3 goals down would have gotten an unlikely result.
See this is my problem with the real game. If we played at the beginning the way we played at the end, we would have been 3 goals to 2 ahead, maybe even losing, whatever it was but at least we would have done our best and it would have shown. Going into the game and deliberately sitting on our hands and playing on the counter was basically expecting things to go perfectly, like it ever does in a game.
One red card undid us against real (not really but that is the folklore here) what stops a flailing hand hitting the ball and the ref pointing to the spot from not happening in a game like the reading one with 1-0 lead? Teams have to be put to the sword.

Really? So you think that had Nani stayed on the pitch we would have lost?
And while you're playing the 'if' game you conveniently forget that we had plenty of chances in the first half.
What 'if' Welbeck had scored his chance, or RVP or Vidic?
We 'could' have gone in 3-0 up. Damn that Fergie and his childish tactics!!!

And if real first goal that got cancelled wrongly was called? Please do not throw what ifs at me, when what happened is actually available.
Going down to 10 men does not mean the team falling apart. I knew it was done as soon as we went down a man because the way we were playing could only be done with 11. We may be the only defensive team in the world that cannot cope with going down to 10 men. Inter did and survived barca in camp nou, chelsea did the same too. Only united at home wilt away in a year we decide to be conservative by just going down to 10 men.
So no rob, the red card did not lose the game for us, our reaction to going down did. If were as good defensively as we like to think, we would have been able to at least take it to penalties. We didnt close down, we did not have any outlets, we just expected to sit back for 30 minutes and do nothing. In what reverse wolrd does that work? And if anyone asked what united was about, is that what you would say?

It's just football. Anything can happen. You can throw the odd example about a team going down to 10 men surviving but I can throw 10 times as many back about how a team going down to 10 men loses as is the logical case most of the time.
To add to that Madrid had the likes of Benzema, Kaka and Modrid to come off the bench.
Sometimes you just have to say that playing with 10 men against a side with three class players like that with fresh legs is an almost impossible task.
If you know otherwise i'd like you to show me a tape from an alternative universe where we did better.

Really? That's how you think the game went? I can tell you, I was at that game and in the first half we absolutely battered them. They couldn't control Welbeck or deal with our pace and aerial threat. We were very unlucky not to be leading 2 or 3-0 by half time, it had nothing to do with 'sitting on our hands.'
---
So no rob, the red card did not lose the game for us, our reaction to going down did.
--- If Nani is on the pitch, Carrick isn't out of position when Modric picks up the ball in acres of space. As for that finish, no keeper was saving it.
If by 'our reaction to going a goal down' you mean that we peppered their goal for 20 minutes and could have had 4 or 5 goals but for phenomenal goalkeeping, you'd be correct
