Yes, but I don't think it will affect attendances. While we have this large global fanbase, the owners will keep tapping it up for money to the detriment of the skinter fans.
I love Liverpool but I love being able to afford food and a roof over my head more.
My issue if you want to call it an issue is that these very same fanboys like TOOR etc say things like increasing the cost of tickets by 5-9% is not an issue and those like yourself who cannot afford it will have to stand aside and let someone else take your place(more towards season ticket holders).
When the fanboys express things like this it makes my blood boil as they don't understand the sacrifices some supporters make in time and money to support their club.
Yet the very same fanboys insult their own matchgoing fans as well others and if any fan opposes their views like ARE and shortlight then they are treated appallingly.
You are not the only set of fans who do this but you are our rivals so I think my distain for such fans is valid

My time going full time is on its way...
She has hidden my renewal.....
Schoolboy error Fellaini, just contact the club and ask then to send another
I could just call......
Think it her way of saying its time to spend more time with her!

Fair enough, I agree
My boss has had to not renew his season ticket last season for the first time in 40 years because his wife wouldn't let him. To be honest at that age, I'd tell her where to go but he's said he's not actually missed it as much as he thought he would.
A midweek replay against Oldham doesn't hold the lure it once did I think
the rising costs is a massive issue for me. we have a new baby and its becoming increasingly difficult to justify the costs....
its not an easy one to work out as each individual has to make this decision based on their own circumstances...
True scouse-heart it's becoming increasingly difficult to justify the money not only on the season ticket but the travel expenses cost of a pie and pint and sometimes having to jiggle work hours to get to a match. When people dismiss inflation busting increases in ticket prices but those same people don't go to games then I really get angered about it
Im lucky to have a fuel card free of charge......
Also that I don't have to think about the cost of my ST....
Just the cost of the holidays I have to book to keep her happy.
I'm fine with the costs side of things but home games on monday-wednesday nights can be an issue time/work wise for me.Even weekends sometimes I have to jiggle work round and its becoming more and more an issue
Its not just the money for me i work long hours and at the min find it difficult sometimes to justify the time...
Im sure this will pass as he gets older (and hoepfully joins me) but thats how i feel at min.
A comment that leaves me open to redicule but it is the truth...
Im off at the moment so could easily fit in a few Midweek games
Scouse, I honestly have to wonder about the mentality of someone who prioritises going to the match over their family and friends. Although often these two aren't mutually exclusive.
Virtually none of my close mates support Liverpool, and none live locally so if I want to see them it's at the weekend. Watching Liverpool is something I will always fit around my life, rather than fitting my life around watching Liverpool.
Next thing you know we'll be advertising half season tickets on Radio City. The joys of keeping it parochial
To me once it gets to the stage were going the match changes from being something to look forward to,to something that's basically a tradition or a chore then I will stop going.
I've come close a few times to giving it up especially the Walter Smith years and to be honest the end of last season too. This season I've found it increasingly difficult to juggle my time and it has affected my enjoyment of going to the games.
The likes of the game against City comes along and then you realise what it means to be there and be part of the whole reason why you support the club. Then you think why on earth would I want to give this up.
No doubt Stoke on the 30th will bring me back down to reality

If every game was like the Zenit game, win or lose, I'd find a way to go every week.
You can't just have the smooth.....
You have to accept the rough, imagine Mike Walker was your manager
At least you didn't have to witness watching Paul Stewart playing in midfield.
I can't even bring myself to remember that time Fellaini, the signing of Brett Angel has to be amongst the lowest points in our clubs 135 year history
Paul Stewart....
I could name easily 15 players worse.

Pick the bones out of that squad and recent released players.Walters last season in charge
Idan Tal......
And the reds think they had it bad....
Danny Williams
I know I've come into this late. But I just wanted to say I find it hilarious seeing you go on about Liverpool fans 'ganging up'. Especially as I've seen the pair of you lay into TOOR about his uni course/wife's nationality/driving ban on plenty of occasions.
Just saying.
Yawn....
You have come into this late and evennyour fellow fans agree he is a plank.
