I’m not sure about a full on ground share but I wouldn’t have any problem with a local team that has found itself in an unbelievable financial mess because of gross mismanagement and needs a helping hand from a neighbour to avoid it possibly going out of existence playing their games at Molineux for a while.
when do you want to move in?
Tatter
Think its more likely to be Birmingham than either of us. I would have said Leicester but are they not Coventry's rivals?
brum makes sense as it's more local that said if it came to it no I wouldn't mind them using our ground for a bit
Mornin' T&T.
It's about half the distance (stadium to stadium) from Ricoh to StAns than it is Ricoh to Molineux and Blues need the money so that would seem the best fit.
Morning T&T.
Wasn't there a man called Wheldon at Blues who tried to do the same thing with Birmingham and Walsall?
are Cov likely to pay rent? Moxey will haggle us out of it and then Morgan will come out with well lads we tried our best to get a deal in place.....anychance of renewing your season tickets?
They’d pay something Tino but it wouldn’t be big bucks as that’s the problem they have at the moment – too much rent too little income.
I don’t know how close they came to that Tara. Wheldon owned Saddlers and then sold them, bought Blues and sold off a lot of assets to try to keep them afloat. I do remember a ground share being talked about but can’t remember if it was ever a serious proposition.
Maybe terry could be useful for once and remind us?

Molineux is like a second home to me. I've probably seen more wins there than half the Wolfies on here
WW 0-1 WBA (2002)
WW 1-0 WBA (2006)
WW 2-3 WBA (2006/7) play offs
WW 0-3 WBA (2006/7) fa cup
WW 0-1 WBA (2008)
WW 3-1 WBA (2011)
WW 1-5 WBA (2012)
i'll have a tenner with ya
think Coventry would share a non league ground like Hinckley United, less money to pay.
I don't know how i'd feel my kinda local team playing at my teams ground haha. seems strange to me.
What a mess for Coventry City. They've got a quite a few options local to them, just depends on what gates they get. I'd have thought Birmingham City would be their best bet, then Leicester City.
