hanleys not up to much at all, main weakness is in his hamstrings i think, rhodes is not as good as kenny miller yet, maybe in time
So Hanley’s injury prone? He certainly wound Bellamy up as he was giving him daggers a few times last night. I thought he was just doing what CB’s should do - giving him no time to dwell on the ball. We’ll need to disagree about Miller as I’ve never rated him and had a feeling he’d turn in the type of display we’ve come to expect of him last night. Groaned when I seen him coming on to replace Fletcher WTF was Strachan thinking?

You're wrong on both accounts there.
Can't remember Hanley having many issues with injuries, let alone hamstrings although we have a player called Henley who has had 2 hamstring injuries this season.
Rhodes is far better than Kenny Miller, too. Kenny Miller is crap.
Hanley was shocking but better up front than Misser
BM - I’m happy to stick wi Hanley and give him a run of games as he’s a young boy - this was the first time I‘ve seen him and to be fair most of the team were pash last night so I’ll cut him some slack as we’re seriously weak in the CB position
So SKA what’s your opinion of Hanley?
Hanley started poorly but recovered last night.
I quite like him . Different to the other duds we have at the back. Much stronger than Caldwell and Berta (which is needed in a CB) , more aggressive than they 2 puśsies and faster. I think he has the makings of a good CB. Altho as I said he started very poorly last night. But it was his 1st competitive start
And by the way Pollocks is pulling yer plônker over Jenny Miller n Rhodes. Rhodes is a class act that needs to start every game for us. Goal machine
He's had some absolute blinders for us and, with him being still young, could easily become a very good centre back. There's a reason Man United were rumoured to be interested in him not too long back.
With that being said, he's still mistake prone and is not the most agile centre back but he is tough.
I reckon he'll come good.
Agree we need to give Rhodes a run of games - along with the promising youngsters. Use the rest of the group games to blood them as we’re fecked anyway. We have to freshen up the team as the usual suspects have had their chance so lets plan for the future. Oh and play to our strengths and play a pressing game; move the ball quicker and lets play a centre forward that can finish. I’d be happy wi Rhodes and Fletcher every game
Cheers SKA I like the sound of that. As you say he’s young so that would explain the inconsistency. He struck me as being nails and Bellamy was nae too happy wi him. I've always liked my CB's to put themselves about
Looked decent once he settled, the first half hour though he looked terrible.
Need to get him a good partner if he is to succeed though. Not one coming through though.
Esc we have to as we would aw get behind the youngsters and cut them some slack and I’d be willing to accept defeats as part of their learning curve. We’ve got feck all to lose - we cannae drop much further in the rankings and it’d give us some hope for the future. Strachan needs to develop this team as it’s shocking at the moment. I cringe when I see our defence and midfield options that he’s persisting with
Bluenose aye I can't think of one decent CB. Had hopes for Wilson but can't remember any other Scottish CB I thought 'aye, he looks the part'
I liked the look of Hanlon at Hibs, although not seen him play for a while.
Personally i never rated Wilson as a defender, I think he could have made a good sitting midfielder though, as he isn't strong enough to outmuscle strikers, nor pace to get beyond them.
With that being said, he's still mistake prone

We seen that! Three stray passes from the edge of the box in the first 15 minutes
