Hahahahaha is this a joke

who played better than milner throughout the game? rooney did for the first half then had nothing to work with when cleverly left his mind in the changing rooms at half time

Milner did fack all, his crossing was dreadful and he misplaced passes. He only did good covering the woeful Johnson. You are clueless

Milner or Rooney motm for me. Both had good games. First half, a lot of good performances. Second half, god knows what happened to the midfield!

thank you melton. Cleverley didnt touch the ball in the second half until the 65th minute, should have been replaced by lampard on 60.

Wouldn't say he did anything special. Definitely nothing warranting a man of the match status.

MOTM out there today is Lescott, it's a big shame he's not playing much for City. he played for the shirt tonight

RVP,

I'm not sure what else you want from his crosses to be honest, nearly every one went in to the danger area and caused them problems. We only had Rooney in the box, there isn't much he can do apart from put it in to dangerous areas.

Lescott is a good shout though, thought he players well. Could tell he hasn't played much recently towards the end though

lescott motm? i thought he was solid but look slow at times and nearly cost us a goal with a dreadful clearance

posted on 26/3/13

mind you, he was better than chris smalling

Milner got man of the match in a few papers I've seen already.

Smalling wasn't bad.

posted on 26/3/13

no i agree, smalling was okay, his heading and reading of the game is very good, but his distribution is somehwat lacking

What did Smalling or Lescott do wrong? They were both good I thought. Clevs was alright first half when we were on top. Very poor in second half just like the rest of the team. He should have been subbed 15 mins earlier.

Same old anti United response to an England game.

CHAMP20NS !!!

Milner mom is an anti united response?

That's the problem with united fans, any criticism of one of their players for a pants performance "Welbeck" and it's because of united, typical rag, what's next your bitter do one.

Hart needs to sort his head out he's becoming a bit of a liability recently.

I'm sure it's just a blip in keepers terms he's no where near his peak.

For once Milner isn't getting pelters on this site, possibly because people may have seen by his form this season that he's actually a very good player.
He did ok last night, nothing more really.

He would have been even more effective if he didn't have to constantly worry about covering for a woeful Johnson.

Out of the two teams Savic was motm for me, unrecognisable to the player we had who looked scared to death of touching the ball for fear of making mistakes.

Milner was decent last night, nothing more. Never goes missing in games, I'll give him that

posted on 27/3/13

Hart did nothing wrong and actually made a couple of important saves.

The mishandling of the ball that dropped out of his grasp and could of gone in was really his only mistake, which can happen to the best of keepers.

Milner? offing Milner? He was second to Gerrard in the being the worst player.

Hart was average. His distribution is very worrying, 9 out of 10 goal kicks went to a Montenegrin.

Any stick Milner gets is anti city abuse from the abc's they are all bitter, I hope England blow up and no city player ever wants to play for them again.

Not really having a go at joe he just seems to have one jitter in him per game, last season he was more solid and sure handed.

.......

You must have been watching a different game to come up with that or you need to clean your Man United glasses.

Agreed with Gerrard being terrible but Milner being second worse?

Cleverley, Welbeck, Johnson?

Komakino...

I know what i watched and it has nothing to do with club rivalry.

Milner was playing as a winger who did not put in 1 accurate cross all night. Is Milner a winger or a defender? Sure, he put in a solid shift defensively but he was dog poo going forward.

Cleverly - well he divides opinion and i will agree with you in that he was very ineffective bar one sweet pass to Welbeck.

Welbeck- i vehemently disagree with you. Listen, many point to his awful goalscoring record, and i agree that he is goalshy but he is often played on the wing and not as a striker - still no excuse for his infecundity in front of goal.

Welbeck made a few decent runs, was assured in possession, solid defensively and tried to make things happen. I agree his final ball was sorely lacking.

He obviously done what Roy asked him to do. He's never going to be a flying winger like Young or Walcott, he's a utility man who done his job well

Welbeck is an embarrassment to the shirt, he's garbage.
