He would be a great understudy to cole but he is only worth £15 mill at a push you guys want over 20. I am probably wrong to think it but top 4 shouldnt be a problem we have a game in hand and are one point clear of spurs atm.Anyway qe are chelsea and we always compete on all fronts i say play the best 11 maybe rotating Oscar with Moses for Southampton and Torres for Ba.

Shaw is a Chelsea fan as he's worth way over 20mill Kingofthebridge. Shaw >>>> Bertrand

Shaw is only worth £6m-£8m(only a 17 year old kid,18 by the time we potentially try to sign him in the summer) but inflation means we will probably have to pay £15m for him.

Infact I would be very surprised If we pay over £10m for Shaw in the summer, seeing as they just sold Chamberlain for £15m midfielders/wingers are usually more expensive than defenders.
Sold Bale for £7m but then again they were in the championship at the time.

Anymore than £10m for Shaw is excessive.

I hope Rafa plays a B-side. The FA Cup tie versus Man Utd is a much bigger game. 5 points ahead of Arsenal, and 1 ahead of Spurs with a game in hand...we have room to manouevre.

Unfortunately like it or not £10m + is what you will be looking at.

Yes Chamberlain is a midfielder but he had only played in League 1 at that point.

Shaw is a regular in the premier league, The chairman is known to be a very hard negotiator, and won't let a player go unless he feels the deal is right. Jason Puncheon was left in the reserves for 12 months as he tried to force a move so that wont work either.

We also do not need the money which will push the price up as it has to be a unreal offer for us to consider it.
