I personally don't think we'll get Ronnie back as much as I'd love it to happen.

However, that team would be MORE than good enough to win the title next season and would take some stopping in Europe as well. As good as Ronaldo was for us in his last few years with us, he's even better now.

He'd probably get over 50 goals next season should he return and I'v never seen a player do that my in my lifetime at United.

I'd be happy with this attack:
--Cleverly----Carrick--
Kagawa
Ronaldo--Rooney--RVP

This way the front three can easily switch positions mid-match. Also we'd get more goals out of Rooney he he's playing as a front man.

Why couldn't they do that with the OP formation exactly squiggle?

To be honest, the thought of seeing Ronaldo at OT again would make me oblivious to any negative consequences. I'd be delighted.

I didn't saying they couldn't do it in your team

Ronnie coming home, even at £60 mil (bearing in mind we would get £25 ish for Nani) would be awesome business.

However, i think we would have to revert back a more solid looking 433/4231 or else that attacking side would get torn up in Europe.

Jones Carrick
Kags/Clevs
Ronaldo RVP Rooney

If Ronaldo does return to Man Utd, what will happen to Danny Welbeck? He'd struggle to get a game.

there's no way in hell we'll get £25 million for nani, we'd be lucky to get £20 million, id much rather keep nani and give him games on the right hand side like in 2010-11 when he was our best player

Would you be satisfied with...

And proceeds to name a team with Ronaldo, Rooney and RvP..

No, I'd be truly devastated.

To have brought in Nani and only replaced him with Ronaldo and Zaha? My word...

Ronaldo for Welbeck???? Don't think some of our omniscient ja606ers would like that! Eh? Robb & Dunc? And Re- as-toms would have a fit, especially if they didn't unload Rooney as well.

Ron. Roo. Rvp.

With Welbeck and Chico off the bench = Best attack in football.

Cleverley + Carrick + Kagawa in midfield = the PL's best midfield by far.

Rafa + Smalling + Evans + Vidic + Jones + Rio + Evra + Fabio = best collections of defenders anywhere.

De Gea = Best young goalkeeper in the world.

Ronnie is all we need this summer, to improve us after that, Wilshere and Wanyama next summer and we'd the the strongest squad and team in Europe.

Is Ronaldo worth it? HELL YES!!

If we had that team we'd be devastating

Everyone always goes on about the future, bring through the youth etc. But in doing that, you're risking the now, and you're never sure if they will actually make it into the first team being a quality player.

We took that risk with Anderson, and Nani, Macheda, Pogba, they have talent sure, on their day they can be great, but they are as inconsistent as when we first signed them. (Except for maybe Pogba, but he needed to leave the club to improve).

Football is a competition. If we sign Ronaldo, well then Welbeck, Nani and the likes better step up their game to try get into the first team.
