Boycott Sunderland? are you kidding me?

I dont care about his political views, same reason i dont care about players/ managers religious views. Just play the game ffs

he was racist when to a player last season

Who cares if he's a fascist or not? It makes no difference too football. If he starts to pursue a career in politics, fine, then talk about it. Now, I couldn't care if he was commie, fascist or if just doesn't care in the slightest.

i have no comment to make on his fascist leanings but doing the salute showed his stupidity at the very least...i dont expect him to be Sunderland's manager come christmas

But why is this an issue now he's in the Prem... we've known about this side to him for years, it shouldnt take an extra dimension now just because he is on a bigger stage

So much nonsense, we have freedom of expression and his views aren't illegal. The far right movement is growing in this country, why make out Di Canio to be some sort of devil. He's a football manager not a politician.

yeah but far right people are generally thick s so everybody should feel free to judge him

David Miliband resigned last night in protest. how pathetic

The same with far left people Crouch. Extremist views aren't normally great, but hey ho, let's just hope this crap doesn't start popping up in footy more.

he can have his views but being racist to players is inexcusable

pathetic of who el cap?

right you are london dave... some of the most bigoted, racist people i have met have been "anti-zionist" far left

Not the luckiest decision to make him a manager of Sunderland.

What do you mean CrouchEndGooner? I would generally consider myself anti-zionist in lieu of what they're doing at the moment.

What is the difference between a racist and fascist?

posted on 1/4/13

A fascist also hates the NHS and civil liberty as well as being racist.

not going to get into it on here and give the admins a headache Giroulski

in short ive heard a number of people hide anti-semitic views behind anti-zionist views (suggesting israel is protected by sympathetic forces in financial sectors for instance)

I am definitely going to boycott Sunderland.

posted on 1/4/13

would you have bothered to go there for an away game anyway?

Well there is a fair suggestion that it might be. The Rothschild family is extraordinarily powerful and Jewish, so it makes sense that they might bankroll the first Jewish state.

There is a line. What that country is doing is fairly evil and has many parallels with what happened to them in the build up to the second world war. It's a sad state of affairs when the Israeli government is comparable to the Nazzi one. Who'd have imagined that could happen when it was all set up?

There's a difference between having a problem with Israel and having a problem with Judaism. I have a problem with the actions of Israel and if they were to rectify it then I'd have no problem whatsoever.

I'm anti-zionist. Just as I'm an anti-nationalist.

CEG, I have pretty much boycotted England north of London for most of my life.

i have no problem with anything youve just said Giroulski but lets leave it there before we get banned for being off topic

Saved Remy penalty

Just seems like a lot of fuss over nothing. If he's racist to players, deal with it. Otherwise it's nothing to do with footy.

i feel sick the moment i get north of brent cross

Fair do's. But this is a case of politics being brought into football so I feel a fairly light discussion isn't beyond the pale here.

I think it's a good thing that fascism causes a stir, even in football. It's a political view based, generally, upon the refusal of the idea that all people are equal. And that's something that I really dislike. If you look at the consequences of fascism, it isn't wrong for people to be upset that the man controlling their football club is a fascist. I'd be gutted if that were to happen to Arsenal.

it's ludicrous. I haven't seen the alledged quotes but I'd hazard a guess they were taken out of context and/or twisted to suit a Press agenda.

Similarly, no matter how much you disagree with his views, he has every right to have them, that's what living in a country with free speech means. As long as he doesn't act in any way that can be seen as racist or discriminatory then so be it.

If I am honest as a German I have a real problem with Sunderland new manager.
