For the love of all that is sane. Give it a rest. Aguero's demands were too expensive for Chelsea to meet.

Chelsea didn't bid because we were no longer interested in him anymore unfortunately

becouze he is greedy.that it.he could join chelsea before but wanted to be highest pay player in our squad.since then we never made official offer.the rest was only newspaper talk and agent propaganda to get as much money 4him as you can get.
really shame.good talent.i dont see him stay in man city longer then 3 years a max.

cos he's overrated and will flop at city which will be funny. plus we need no strikers.

Went off our radar but it's annoying as I think if he settles he'll be exceptional at City. Played very well last year and still very young.

He's not over rated. but there is simply no space for another first team central striker in our side

He like Tevez will dislike miserable Manchester and run to a sunnier and vibier location within a season.

Simply don't believe what you all read in the press, Forlan was apparently quoted in saying that he was shocked that Aguero didn't join chelsea, only to later say he hasn't said anything in the matter.

It was rumoured we were interested in Sergio during the last two seasons, but unless the club or the player say otherwise, it is all press talk.

Nando9 we put in a bid of £40mil for Aguero in January,so we were clearly interested in signing him at the time, but this summer we were no longer interested.

Yet with Torres in the team, they went from hanging on to 4th, to passing Arsenal with ease!!

chelseamf, he really is overrated. his goals to game record is hardly overwhelming, his wages are huge, he looks like a beaver, and he is not the hard worker some claim. to me he looks like a lazy old carlos kickaball.

Yep I was right before, you don't know anything about Aguero.
End of story,I'm done talking about him now.

posted on 2/8/11

You know nothing about football chelseamf. Clearly that is proved by now.

I'm done talking to you now. WUM FILTER ON

Don't patronise other posters in the future either.

I think most of our informed members are contented with the more savvy negotiating style of our board. Agreeing on what the value of a player is to the team and sticking to it.

Anyone got an idea of what his wages are?
