If he is fit and on the bench, why does he never get brought on as a sub now then. He is a bit slow admittedly, but is an excellent passer, and can do a good job for 30 odd minutes.

Why isn't Holtby making your starting 11? He can't be too good if Sigurdsson and Dempsey are preferred options.
I loved big Tom. A classy player.
Doesn't seem to fit into the AVB way which is a shame....even when we sometimes lack a bit of vision he does not get a look in. A start tonight would be good!

When he used to play in the Parker position with Modric and VDV he was Awesome.
For some reason people seem to think that he is more of a creator but that is not the case, he should be the deepest player holding the midfield. They also say he can't tackle but that is rubbish too. And I must add, he is and never was lazy. He used to pressure players and get about the middle very well.
In my opinion, him and Dembele would be a great central midfield but we have never had the chance to see that. He would sit and Dembele would push on.
I remember all of this "fat" stuff and I don't understand it. He is a professional footballer and trains everyday. How could he be fat and if he was we would do something.
Some fans just hear somebody say something and repeat it like a parrot.
Tommy is too slow for how AVB wants to play. Agreed that a very good player and for me should work well in a 3 with dembele and sandro when all fit. His passing is excellent. I am a fan but if AVB don't rate him ship him on.

I think that he would be amazing in that Fulham team.

last I remember seeing him was when he gifted 3 goals to arsenal, including giving a 2 yard pass to one of their players on the edge of our box.

Team just in <ok.
Not happy with brad and gallas, they were a disaster away in Milan.
THAT pass v Shakhtar
He's been injured, and I think AVB likes players to play a minimum of 3/4 U21 games before being played after a spell out. He has been on the bench for the last couple
Brad played quite well v Swans though Sandy
How anybody can say we've moved on from Hudd when we have an average plodder like Parker starting games is beyond me.
Hudd, Mod, Rafa......magic
"He's been injured, and I think AVB likes players to play a minimum of 3/4 U21 games before being played after a spell out."
He was less than focused for the one half he played for the U21s against WBA in the blizzard.
Parker and Huddlestone bring differing qualities to the team, I would much rather see Hudd playing when he are struggling to break poor teams down at home who just park the bus.
Parker is vital against the better teams particularly away from home, but offers next to nothing offensively.
Sometimes we need a more creative player in CM, maybe Huddlestone be used as this option but I dont think he is good enough to be a regular for us, especially against the better teams.
