Schurlle is quality IMO, but not sure why you guys would need him, he's effectively a winger?

He seems to split opinion

We do need a player like him though. Someone who can play wide as well as up front

Just seems surprising you'd go for him first before a striker is secured. He can play through the middle but only has done on a couple of occasions this season.

If you got Schurrle and Cavani or Falcao that is some attack

Schürrle is a good buy to fill our 3rd striker + winger void.

Remember he started his career central.

It's how good he actually is as a winger which is worrying g7

get rid of Marin (or on loan) and Moses and Schurrle would be good wide options, our lack of alternative to Mazacar has been a problem this season

Schurrle is superb, will prove all the critics/doubters wrong. His intelligent runs/movement off the ball alone will improve us no end(not to mention his other attributes). Works well as a winger on either side, can play as a no.10/second striker and CF. Versatility.

We will no doubt get a 'marquee' first choice CF as well.

I doubt he'd be bought as a first choice striker

Hope It's Cavani rather than Falcao(although I wouldn't be displeased with him).

Is he currently even better than Oscar CMF?

There are 2 Oscars. The european one and the PL one.

Currently yes.

The PL one is average

I´m assuming that Schurrle is going to play wide left or right of the three.

Probably left.

If that´s true then it adds weight to the idea that Oscar will be shifted into central midfield next season.

A fluid setup and that looks quite tasty.

Only problem would be having good quality backup in the attacking midfield positions, but starting 11 would look good

We´d still have Moses and Marin as backup for the attacking three positions and Oscar would still be able to play there if needed, especially as backup to Mata.

Personally I would trade Marin for someone else though as I´m not convinced he´s good enough backup.

For me it´s all about flexibility and players being able to play in slightly different positions. I think that´s where you get the best out of a squad and I´m not sure we do enough of that.

Isco would be great backup

Isco signing won't happen If we sign Schurrle.

Would prefer KDB
