Thank you! On their day, Wigan can play well.
Wigan have reached the final of the League Cup once before, where they met Manchester United. (Swansea reached the final of the League Cup this season and faced Bradford City. And Bradford had beaten Wigan - on penalties - on their way to Wembley.)
A Cup Final appearance would be great, but might well leave Wigan with a very challenging final week of the season, with games against Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Hope league 2 wigan go down, cant even sell out 10k tickets for a cup semi final at Wembley what good is a 21k capacity ground to the premier league?
Err Wigan have sold 21,000 tickets which is decent considering Wembley is 300+ miles away and having a pathetic kickoff time, I mean 5:15 what a joke.
Chicken Feed I gotta say I admire your persistance, this board is deader than a dodo yet you're here every game with something to say, what keeps you going?
#8 Shaun Mitchell, you really are a jealous little boy. If your beloved Leeds had managed their finances in the way that Wigan have you might have had their place.
Give them some credit - always play attractive football, unearthed some great players via innovative scouting and a manager many clubs would give their right arm for.
Thanks for your comments, guys - I've had a great weekend!
I'm pleased that Wigan put on a good display in front of the cameras at Wembley.
What a wet and windswept place Wembley was when we got there!
Now it's back to the League!
