Edin, I'm sure you're right.

The plot was basically "Blue Pocahontas" and it was so painfully obvious where it was going but it was the cinema that made it so good. I went to see Toy Story 3 at the Liverpool IMAX and it was only ok, I couldn't believe the difference.

The one in Sydney you had to literally turn your head to see to the ends of the screen and when they were walking round the base, you felt like you were walking behind them it was so immersive.

Despite the cack storyline it was stunning visually, and I came out of that cinema absolutely blown away.

HIMYM is so bad it's laughable. agree abotu Skyfall-i'm really not sure i like the Daniel Craig Bond

HIMYM is a great comedy, it helped me get over the shutting down of Friends.

Did anyone ever see that 'Dead Man Running' film that Rio and Ashley Cole directed? Watched it the other day. Biggest load of crap ever.

Edin - definitely, for the first half hour at the cinema I was loving it.. but all the Brad Pitt stuff needed it's own film. IMO

I saw hobbit at the cinema with the missus. It was semi ok. Went on like all epic fantasies. When it ended and they were half way to the destination the missus was mortified.

HIMYM was great in the beginning, now it's so painfully bad I don't even now why I watch it. Sheer loyalty I guess and that I just want them to show the Mother. [Now everyone believes she's actually dead]

wasn't a fan of Friends, but it did at least have some funny moments, more than i can say for the cringingly bad HIMYM

The scene in the basement of the pub was pretty special as well bales!

They destroyed the programme when they lengthened it by 3 years. Could've been a really great comedy if they hadn't taken the money and ran. Fúckers.

HIMYM has dragged on a bit but I still enjoy it, Barney reminds me of Matthew Perry (Chandler) so much too. It's rescheduled for a 9th season and it'll be the final one this time round, really want to know who the secret mother is!!
