He's failed to score in all our big knockout games resulting in us going out of 2 competitions. You can't say he didn't have good chances in those games either
Great signing, probably won us the league but unfortunately his goal drought has cost is at the tail end of the season when the games tend to be hardest an most important

Yeah why ?

there were hard games at the start of the season and he got us out of jail in that respect.
All he needs is a goal. You can see him looking genuinely upset and worried when he misses chances. If he doesn't score for the rest of the season he can clear his head during the summer and hopefully back to his best next season.
The Serbian Warrior • Ozil's still at Carrington (U13483)
Don't forget, he's not had a pre-season with us either.
It wouldn't call him signing of the season. He is in his latter 20's and already a world class player. An important signing no doubt, but as for being the signing of the season, i think that should go to a player who has excelled this season, and was signed from relative obscurity at a cheap price.
Any suggestions? Michu would be my pick.

He's scored us important goals for us.
I admit he was immense in the first half of the season, but we've needed him most in the past month or so and he didn't really turn up resulting in us exiting 2 competitions. We need our best players to win these games for us as Ronaldo did for Real with 2 goals despite playing quite poorly
Still been a fantastic signing tho

Far from being the signing of the season.
Few are more deserving of that accolade.
