Better keeper than what we have but there may be cheaper alternatives.

Cesar is definetley top 4 quality, guy was the best keeper in the world a few years back

Fabianski is out of contract at end of season so Wenger may not have a choice whether fabianski is here or not

I'm not sure, from what I've seen he's been seriously inconsistent. Sometimes he's outstanding and has kept them in games, other times he's flapped for crosses or made some pretty basic mistakes.

cesar was the best GK the year inter won. If you watched inter games that year you would have seen why.

He was incredible, but then he hit an incredible decline after winning that trophy.

I disagree. He has always had very poor distribution and was simply aided by the disciplined, defensive tactics of Jose Mourinhos 09-10 side.

This was proven by his awful performances at the 2010 world cup.

IMO Stekelenburg, Neuer (at Schalke) and Casillas were all better keepers.

Would be a good signing to compete for #1 spot with Szcz. If we'd sign him to come straight in as #1 then 80k would be fair I guess, but I'd be wary of givig him that much tbh especially when there is every chance that Szczesny can become undisputed #1.

Arab... didn't Van Der Sar move to Fulham at around 30, after falling out of favour at Juventus? Eventually going on to sign for United who had tried to buy him before he moved to Juve (much like United showed interest in Stekelenburg before he went to Roma).
