10. It is possibly Italy, but I think more likely the Germans... But it depends if West Germany and Germany are clased the same.
I know Italy lost in 1970 and 1994 but West Germany lost in 1966 and 1986 whilst Germany lost in 2002. Not sure on either prior to 1966.
9) 8 teams
Spain, Germany, England, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Italy, France
8. I would have said Roger Milla with Cameroon in 1990. I think there was a South Korean who was quite old, but don't know if he was older and god knows what his name was. Lothar Matthias would have been ticking on in 1998 but doubt he was as old as Milla.
As you may have noticed I have some knowledge on World Cups
When was the last time wales were in the world cup
5. Gary Lineker in 1986, at a guess I'd say 6 goals.
Wales made the Quarter Finals in 1958. Their one and only appearance.
You know number 9 would Germany and West Germany be seperate countries?
no they are counted as 1 usually. I remember the tv saying during 2010 there had been 7 winners, before spain won
1. I would guess Escobar (not sure of spelling). He definately got send off in the group stage for Colombia in 1990. When the team crashed out in the group stage and got back to Colombia he got shot dead.
I think Rijkaard got sent off in the second round for spitting at Rudi Voller (or vice versa).
So if it was not Escobar then god knows who it was. I'm afraid Ilm not sure of his first name.
The Netherlands haven't won a world cup <shocked>.
The Number two was the Soccer City stadium or something like that .
6. Uruguay in 1930, Uruguay in 1950, England in 1966, Germany in 1974, Argentina in 1978, France in 1998.
The only doubt I have is Italy. They won the World Cup in 1934 and 1938 but I don't know where they were held. It is highly possible that one of those World Cups was in Italy, but I do not know for sure.
Number 10 is most likely to be one of:
Germany
Argentina
Italy
France
Netherlands
But outta the five I'd probs guess at Germany .
I would bet my bottom dollar is Germany as they have lost at least 3. Actually Argentina is a dark horse as they have lost at least 3 too. I'd say in that case maybe Germany have lost 4?
I believe 1934 was held in France with 1938 been in Italy. I remember reading something about that in my History of the world cup book a couple of years back .
Is the golden ball the number of clean sheets from a gk?
