My family live in shotts. Up until 5 years ago the only beer you could buy in the local shops was Tennants and Budweiser.
I was managing bars for years in Manchester and always had a huge selection of foreign beer in. Leffe & Staropramen on tap. 16 different bottled beers. Whenever i visited Shotts i had to take my own beer with me.
Thankfully all the bars and shops in Lanarkshire have a variety now.
Keo (Cyprus) and Efes (Turkey) are my favourite foreign beers

Did you have a vindaloo the night before?
Anyway we certainly seem to have a better choice of beer etc these days.

I dont have a Tescos anymore
