Probably worth sticking my first team in the starting positions
Ok Pride
Im thinking
--------------------Kettings--------------------
----------Lascelles----------Umtiti------------
Simpson-----------------------------Cresswell
----------Ferguson-----------Badu------------
Portillo-------------Khazri-------------Vicente
---------------------Phillips--------------------
Not a bad shout
Save Ferguson for if we need a match winner
Done
Messi can only make the bench in this star studded line up
--------------------Kettings--------------------
----------Lascelles----------Umtiti------------
Simpson-----------------------------Cresswell
-------------Badu------------Giggs-------------
Portillo-------------Khazri-------------Vicente
---------------------Phillips--------------------
can't see much wrong with that side
Keepers...
De gea or Leno
I'm happy to go Spainish, distribution
----------------------De Gea--------------------
----------------?-----------------?------------
?----------------------------------------------?
--------------?-----------------Pirlo-------------
?-------------------Suarez-------------------?
-------------------Van Persie--------------------
A favoured formation of mine, however not sure how the likes of isco/suarez would fit in as he's best centrally isnt he?
My team
--------------------De Gea---------------------
-----------Garay-----------Rakitsky-----------
Carvajal-----------------------------Rodriguez
--------Gonalons------------Pirlo--------------
Nani----------------Isco----------------Suarez
----------------------RVP------------------------
I like that, only thing is Suarez being out wide
We'll get over-run in midfield if we play Suarez behind RVP.
He can and has played wide left this season
Tactics in brief,
play out from the back through garay
pirlo will be the dictator of our play
suraez and nani will look to cut inside with wing backs overlapping to provide width
Gonalons will sit in front of the back 4 to mop up
Iscos movement will open up the space
indeed will do a quick write up then we can edit
Thats why you assistant managerial pimp....cos you my bítch

De Gea makes his first appearance between the sticks for Black Forest Football, he'll be very vocal making sure everybody stays alert and sharp throughout the game. He'll be looking to play the ball out from the back at goal kicks, we won't be pumping long balls aimlessly forward. He'll use Garay or the wing backs who will then look for Pirlo.
Garay and Rakitskiy will be the center backs. Garay will be the one to bring the ball out and find Pirlo or the wing backs. Rakitskiy is a solid, tough tackler he'll be there to win anything that comes his way.
Carvajal and Rodriguez, will be operating as our wing backs. They'll be providing the cover down the flanks and the width for our attacks. When we don't have the ball they will be looking to get back into a solid back line. When in possession they will be looking to push the opponents back into their half and provide an option on the overlap.
Gonalons takes up his place anchoring the midfield, his job will be to sit and mop up. He won't be venturing very far forward, he'll let the others in front of him do the attacking side of things. There will be very little space in the middle of the park for the opposition to operate and their only option will be able to knock the ball out wide. The two deep midfielders will not allow the opponents to get shots off, quickly closing down and crowding them out. Pirlo will be dictating our play and setting our attacking plays in motion. He'll be looking to feed around the opponents midfield, drawing them onto him and opening up space in behind for Isco to flourish.
Nani and Sureaz are to play out wide / inside forwards. Their job will be very important. When out of possession they'll be dropping back as part of a solid midfield line of 4 and when in possession they will be bursting forward (ala Robben/Ribery). They can both cut inside, or look to one of the wing backs bombing down the flanks. Without the ball they will be helping out the fullbacks so that the opposition struggle in wide areas to make anything happen.
Isco finds himself in his favoured no.10 role, his quick movement and one touch passing will be key in unlocking the opponents defence. He'll be looking to create space for his team mates and put through key passes. When defending he'll be roaming in front on the midfield 4, looking to pick up 2nd balls quickly when his team mates win it. He won't stick to the middle of the pitch, but roam, looking more to the inside left/right channels.
Van Persie will lead the line, we'll play off of him, but we'll also look to get him shooting chances around the edge of the box. Kagawa will support him, with the wide men running into dangerous areas to receive the ball or create some space.
Defensive notes: We'll be looking to suffocate their play in the middle of the park, closing them down quickly and giving him no time to get any rhythm into their game. With Pirlo pulling the strings from our side it'll mean the opposition midfield has to do a lot more running which will take it out of them physically.
Corners: The two center backs will venture forward, leaving the wing backs and Gonalons sitting deep to break up any counter attacking threat.
