I think it would be a good move,,you need some steel

As hes free its worth a go. I havent seen enough of Frimpong to know if hes better and we dont know how his injury has affected him.

There's a bit of a difference to "grit" and downright thuggery.

Fair enough, he SEEMS to have dialled down a bit on the pitch over the last season, but I still really don't want him.

Barton and Wilshire in midfield , lock up your daughters.

The words 'grit,' 'steel,' and 'bite' seem to be flying around a lot.

I would consider his presence and passing far better attributes which would benefit the Arsenal team.

Good signing me thinks

No. He could be the answer to all our prayers for all I care; I don't want that thug in our team.

Nope, never going to happen either.

At least it's not Craig Thomson

We have had alcoholics, druggies, ex prisoners, gamblers (oh what all those are just Adams...) so why not Barton....

list if we play Barca in the CL he can go up to Messi and say 'I can make you look like your name if you play well today'

I think it will work.......

Nobody would take him seriously if he decided to grow that stupid moustache again.

Oh dear. TBH i dont mind arsenal, a bit of wummery here and there its all banter; i like the clever stuff although you dont get much.

Anyway, onto Barton....KEEP WELL AWAY!! It is no coincidence that wherever he goes trouble follows, in the dressing room, in the pubs, on the pitch; if you sign him.....bad apple and all that! You need a player like him..BUT NOT HIM.

If Arsene can temper his bad side, he could add some much needed steel to your team. If he comes on a free I can't see it being a bad thing for Arsenal at all.

If Song had pepper up his ass pepper soup might come out and our Nigerian fan base would be delighted. Never knew Joey Barton could be so multi-cultural. Maybe we could put some of his grits in the soup to make it more British though.
