Gervinho deserves to get booed.

He gets paid thousands of pounds to miscontrol and scoff shots.
Hope he gets sold.

wouldn't be surprising.. I remember when they boo'd eboue off once

Disgrace if that is true, you want the team to do well, booing is going to be of no help

I dunno but it aint nice.

I know he is a terrible football player, but he isn't doing it on purpose, he is just out of his depth.

You should reserve booing for players like arshavin, who don't try hard enough or odemwingie because they made an escape attempt.

I didn't hear a single boo today, even after we fell behind.

Although to be fair I WAS trying my best ot block out the annoying whine coming from Tony Gayle

I think he's a poor player, but he shouldn't be getting booed. At least he puts the effort in even if he is severely lacking in talent, unlike some players.

Fans can boo whenever they want. They pay money to see a product, and if it's substandard they can voice their displeasure.

Tbh , I don't like Gervinho as well but the one thing I say in his defence a lot of the chances he Fs up other players would not be there(due to his movement off the ball) or would not be able to create them.

Would you boo a shiiiiit play?

There's a difference between lacking talent and severely lacking confidence, fools. He wouldn't be playing at Arsenal or alongside the likes of Yaya Toure, Kalou, Drogba at international level if he lacked talent.

His career would flourish at a club with a supporters who would appreciate/welcome him, god knows that isn't going to be here!

this kid isnt right in the head. When you attend your first Arsenal game if i catch you booing i will grab you by the ear and lead you to the exit

Gervinho never stood a chance of making it at Arsenal the moment Arsene intimated he was saving money by signing him instead of Mata.

That's not proof of anything, look at the some of the disasters we've had playing for England in recent times.

The problem is I've never seen a professional footballer who is unable to control a ball to the extent Gervinho is, his technique is shockingly poor, and when things go right it seem more down to luck than anything else.

He is also incapable of looking up and seeing where his team mates are when he's in possession. He's better off the ball and his runs aren't bad.

However like I said, he does try and he doesn't deserve to be booed.

Gervinho has quite possibly the worst final ball in the history of football

That'll be day. That'll be day.
If I get intimated by a 4'2 midget, I'll happily jump off a cliff.

Didn't hear any boos, I heard a massive cheer for Podolski when he came on, though. The fans have spoken.

I heard some boos, though they were quickly silenced. Those booing are a disgrace.

"Did the crowd really boo Gervinho when he was taken off."
==============================

I was in the North Bank, I didn't hear any boos at all, he got polite applause - which is fair enough as he was profligate today.

A few filtered few on the tv broadcast.

Think that was just one or two idiots, whenever he gave the ball away I kept hearing the same people yelling at him, even the commentators picked up on it.

Just disquiet. Gervinhio, Giroud were not very good. Wilshere was worse as I feared again in the 'Cesc' position.

You have to forgive dubbed. He has been waiting for weeks to slag off Gervinho so all that pent up Gervinho bashing is coming out in one go now
