We have no other option.

Podolski will never get a run

Completley useless priiiick. How does one miss two tap ins?

Had enough of this facking clown.

He was class tonight. What were you watching? His movement was incredible, pitch was bobbly and so his shots were a bit off.

He's not so bad.

Absolutely atrocious against any defence that knows what they're doing. Awful, does fack all to help the team out as well.

You guys are a disgrace!
He just shouldn't be the main striker, it's not his fault.

He will come good!

Be interesting to see how he gets defended today. Someone will find a way though.

He's better than Gervinho to be fair

He should stick to modelling for men's magazine. Chose the wrong career path.

I know...I said someone would.

Hope he gets better next season I really do, all he seems to do now is get in the way or just smack'em anywhere hard as he can

Two tap ins...giroud shots on target = 0

Not to mention the right foot conversion

He's a decent striker but he's not top quality which is what we need.

He's a good striker WITH A FRONTMAN. Playing 4-3-3 does not suit him.

In terms of our front six:

Does 4-3-3 suit...

Giroud? No.
Podolski? No.
Walcott? No.
Wilshere? No.

The shot he had in the second half with his right foot was difficult, especially as Jagielka did well to close the angle and I think Howard had the near post covered too, but there was no excuse for missing the one Ramsey laid on a plate for him.

There are fine margins in football and sometimes you need extra quality up front to win you games - Giroud doesn't have it.
