At which points do you pick & choose which are tactically ' the best' teams to beat? At the start of the season as promotion favourites most would say Hull rather than Huddersfield. We are currently above Huddersfield so it may turn out they get no more points and losing to them had no consequence...and Burnley turn out to
be the '6 pointer' that really mattered. Its stating the obvious that you need to get points off your nearest rivals...but less obvious till the final table who those rivals were
As for Mick....he had a great record in crunch games...as in both his survival seasons his team came good for the last few games of the season when those around us struggled. The critcal must win games were Burnley and Blackpool...which sent them down instead of us
