Aha I agree to a certain extent but not as if we're a huge team is it?

Lets not forget these are the same thugs who, after getting absolutely destroyed, resorted to trying to kick Wigan players out of the game in the recent FA Cup quarter final. The result was, of course, one of our youngsters, Ryo Miyaichi, suffering a season ending ankle injury after a late and poor challenge...

You mean that clean tackle by Baines? For which no free kick was given, Go back to supporting Dartford you obviously know feck all about football

You get stuck in pyhysically though. You have players who like to let opponents know they're there and all that. Alot of our team would be more...delicate and more interested in using skill rather than physicality. You were in your right to play this way, just as we are to respond how we did when we felt we were getting no protection.

Arsenal like Barca, throwing themselves about and always moaning to the ref, it's true what they say about southerners!

No, I was talking about the Miralles foul that injured him.

Just because the ref fecked up and didn't give a foul doesn't make it right...

I bet Keown,Bould,Adams,Viera etc wouldn't say Everton were over physical. They would not of shirked a battle to win a game of football. The Arsenal of today is nothing compared to previous Arsenal teams.Previous Arsenal teams had men who would relish a fight. This Arsenal team just goes to the floor and cries to the ref on every given chance they get.

That's why you are where you are at present, your players lack desire and a backbone

Would have wanted the Everton players would have put the same effort in against United especially what we all witnessed in the first half.

Gibson seemed not be interested to even play some football.

Thanks for highlighting our facts

How can it be a clean tackle when it ends someone's season?
But still no fouls was given! And then you are blaming the players for being precautious?

Absolutely disgusting 'tactics' from Everton.

Wonder what was said by that fool of a manger pre game 'Look, we cant win this unless we try and injure as many players as possible, if you see the ref is a incompetent árse, then kick even more.'

It is no surprise Rugby is big up north. They probably think it is the same sport as football. Rugby League, Rugby Union and Rugby Association Football.

United physicaly dominated us at Old Trafford and we failed to match their will to win and desire.

We dominated United at our ground again by being the stronger team physically on the day and we totally surprised them.

Everton shouldn't have to use bully their way in matches. THey should be able to play the game the way it's supposed to instead of resorting to this caveman approach. They're better than this and should stop limiting themselves so.

So 4th place, if a player gets hurt then it was a foul? Doesn't matter if the ball is won its not two footed? Ffs players get injured its not nice but it happens,.

Ahb but we were playing with in the rules of the game otherwise the ref wouldn't have allowed it, trying to referee the game as a player is not with in the rules

I take it you lads weren't Arsenal supporters during the George Graham era or the Wenger years when you won trophies.

You were winners because you had men who were up for a physical battle and often were the one's that instigated them.

Perhaps if Wenger checked your players backbones before he buys them you might become a force again

The game has changed. Maybe if the fans stopped living like it was cavemen times, players would stop playing like it.

To elaborate... if we played like Everton did last night in the GG or early AW years we would have seen plenty of yellows and a couple of reds.

Which is one of the points being made, ie the ref was totally out of his depth and failed to apply the rules correctly.

Not happy with a point. Should have beat a overrated Everton side last night. Need to make up for it against Fulham.

What did you gunners think of the linesman decision for you pen against Norwich? & the foul by gouird for your second goal? I can imagine you were livid at the inept officals

posted on 17/4/13

When you won trophies, when you had players who didn't roll around when someone looked at them.

Your team will never be up there with United until you get players that pefer play acting to actual go out to win a game.

It was an eye opener to me how your players constantly play act and try to influence a referee to book/send off opponents.

You as fans deserve better than that

Mr Reasonable

Norwich's goal came from a free kick which should not have been given. So the correct result should have been Arsenal 1-0 Norwich. Thanks for clearing that up.

When you actually won trophies you had players who tried to win games rather than just try and spoil the game and go home with a point.

Referee's decisions are not the yardstick for measuring for what's within the rules of the game though. Just because he thought they were within the rules, doesn't mean he was correct.

Like I keep saying, it's fine if Everton want to play to their strengths and go in hard on Arsenal to try and put us out of our rhythym.

And likewise it's completely within our rights to draw the ref's attention to what we feel is excessive and seemingly impunitive physicality.

Did Everton HAVE to go in hard on Arsenal players? No they didn't so they can't really complain about our antics.
