Wenger says its a
IMO if its a 1 game ban just leave it; If its a 3 game ban appeal it

Seemed pretty ridiculous to me

No we wont appeal because Wenger got a better solution in Podolski. He will rescue us for the rest of the season. Cant wait.

Red Card Might Just Be A Blessing In Disguise For Us Because Things Haven't Been Working For Him Lately.

couldn't agree more GT

Wenger didn't want to drop Giroud and risk damaging his confidence.

The red card gives him the perfect excuse to change things around

It was a stupid decision by the ref. I'm a rabid critic of Giroud but that was never a red.

I'll need to have a proper look at the incident again I guess, outside of the heat of the moment and without a bottle of Jim Beam in one hand & my tool in the other. It looked an outrageous call to me...

refs always look for an excuse to level the game, remember the man city game.

glad he did it so very late.

Agree Sheriff. Could see that he got the ball and accidently eventually hit the foot of the Fulham player. Maybe a yellow at best but never a red card.

If it's only one game then we should appeal for a 3 game ban.

Ron really? Not lost the last 8 games. So.... if you want an Arsenal being punished and banned for this you need your head screwed.

It was a joke GT

I like Giroud

It was a red card, just like Sidwell's was a red. No complaints from me, brilliant calls from Marriner

Complete idiocy by Giroud. As Wenger correctly stated at the end of the game. They were both reds.

Its obvious that Giroud is frustrated by his form. But what he did today was very selfish. I don't believe one minute the excuse made by Wenger that he slipped. I think he let his team down because he wasn't holding the ball up at all which meant the entire play was breaking down when it got to him. I agree that whatever we may think of him we needed him in the last few crucial games. Even if thats just defend corners. Quite pathetic.

Its up to Podolski now.

J99 needs to see the situation again.

GT.

I think you do. Wenger stated it was red. That should answer the OP article as he does not intend to appeal. It will be turned down anyway.

J99

Wenger said he thinks it was red but has to watch it on TV again.

I dont need Wenger opinion to know that this red card was too harsh. He go most of the ball here. He stopped a bit when he touched the ball to avoid to hurt the Fulham player. But you are one of the haters so I your opinion is not relevant to me.

This forum is just ridiculous. If you look at anyone critically you become a hater or defender. I don't give a toss abt any player. Never have. I care only for Arsenal. Players are transitory.

However thank you for your opinion on my opinion. I suggest you concentrate on the game instead of attacking other posters.

You may not need or respect Wenger's opinion but thats the only one that matters.

Jenius mate, pointless to discuss Giroud with him. You are wasting your time

Disgraceful you want an Arsenal player to get a red card
