1b on his yacht
not how much money they have its how much they're worth so includes possessions
Wonder where he pays his taxes?
You dont become worth this much by paying taxes
We have to spend in excess of £50M in the summer
If a lot of us are going to accuse Chelsea and City of buying trophies, it seems hypocritical to do the same. We have FFP coming in as well.
castor, you will need to spend a lot more than that if you want to finish above utd, city and Chelsea next season.they will all improve their squads in the summer and city and Chelsea have the backing of sugar daddies so wont have to worry what they spend to buy players and pay their wages.
Hounslow - I did say in excess
castor,indeed you did sir .
what are you hoping for in the summer regarding transfers in and out ?
I would love it if we spent of £20M on a top class player, ideally a striker.
For the first time I don't think we will sell anyone in the the summer. If we do once again to break even then there is something seriously wrong with our club.
£20M + on a striker
£12-15M on defensive midfielder and someone to replace diaby.
Possibly a midfielder as arteta isn't getting any younger and rosicky plays less than 50% of the games. If we do then again it has to be £20M plus
castor, would you buy a new keeper or are you happy with the ones you have already got ?
I'm not that fussed about a goalkeeper.
There is potential with szszs
castor,fair enough
you're right about a top striker as they make a big difference to any side.
Usmanov would change the transfer policy at Arsenal
ie there would be no ceiling on what he would spend on the right player.
However, he is a 'serious' businessman and would not adopt the scatter gun approach to acquisitions and
management adopted by Abromovich.
For a start he understands sport. He is President of
a Global Sports Federation and his wife was a National Gymnastics Coach in Russia who trained
Olympic Medallists.
